Your meat and vegetables cook together in this dish. When the chicken and vegies are done you have a wonderful gravy in the pot to serve over the vegetables. It makes the house smell so good while cooking.
This salad throws together quickly in the same bowl where you mix the dressing. Tastes great with Italian dishes. I saw Martha Stewart make this on one of her shows and have been making it ever since. The orange juice adds a nice flavor.
A perfect way to use up the trimmings and carcass from your holiday turkey. If, after stewing the carcass and deboning, you do not have 3 cups of turkey then add some additional cut-up cooked turkey. This soup freezes well, so if you have a large turkey and big enough stock pot, you may want to double this recipe.
This has been my family's favorite way to eat pork chop through the years. This recipe is a stove top recipe, but we use this same homemade bbq sauce to baste when we grill chops (and chicken) outside.
This makes a nice appetizer when company is coming. One log can be frozen for later, or both logs can be put out at the same event. It also makes for a nice afternoon snack. Serve with crackers (your favorite kind).
