Welcome to my personal collection of holiday recipes. I've tried to order them with Thanksgiving first and then Christmas. They are however totally interchangable. We should all make what we like, when we like. Enjoy!

These old-fashioned Halloween treats are surprisingly easy to make and oh so yummy! The shown weight of the popcorn pkg is a guess, just use standard size pkg's.

This moist, dense (but not heavy) coffeecake, aromatic with cinnamon and a buttery streusel topping, offers a thin layer of whole-berry cranberry sauce just below its surface. Add dried cranberries to the batter for a more assertively cranberry cake, if you like; but this version is pleasingly simple. And it's a tasty way to add healthy whole grains and fiber to your family's breakfast. *TIP: If you buy whole-berry cranberry sauce, you'll probably find yourself with a 14-ounce can, with only about 2/3 of it used for this recipe. Can you just go ahead and spread the rest onto the cake? Yes, but it may create more "hills and valleys" in the cake; the volume of sauce will become significant enough to sink down into the cake, rather than lie on the surface under the streusel. All good; your choice.

A classic gets a chocolate twist in these chocolate gingerbread cookies. Fun to make and eat. Everyone loves them. This is a icing option that the Zaar puter doesn't like: colored icing in tubes instead of the colored vanilla icing.

This is really for the Bubblegum Vodka (recipe below) but Zaar just won't accept just that. SO, Baby Kato and I have invented cocktails for it. Feelin' brave? give this a try or wait till the holidays and try it out on your friends. They'll either love you or never come back :D.

The glimmering, crispy skin of this chicken dish gets its flavor from a sweet-tart blend of apple jelly and cider vinegar. Tip: To save time, cook the rice and chicken together in a casserole dish with a tight-fitting lid. That way the rice will remain moist as it bakes.
