These are the best hot wings IMHO. I don't like my hands to be really sloppy and the trip through the oven after frying solves this. Add as much heat as you like. I prefer the flavor of Red Hot sauce, but use your favorite. Add some Cayenne pepper to kick it to your desired heat level. Serve with my blue cheese dressing. Serves one hungry wing-lover or up to 4.

My sister shared this recipe with me many years ago and my youngest son was known at his school for the best person to ask to bring a snack. There are several recipes posted that are similar but none are like this one.

Dubbed the "Super Bowl" - this recipe was featured in the Jan/Feb 2010 issue of Food Network Magazine. Stashing for safe keeping. You will also need aluminum foil and an ovenproof 3 quart bowl to pull this trick off. The article says it is strong enough to hold dip! The original recipe didn't include servings, so 8 is an estimation. Prep time includes time to cool as well.

Here's a quick and easy recipe using only 5 ingredients!Great for holiday shopping nights when their isn't much time for dinner. Made with purchased polenta, they're great! You will find Polenta tubes in the refrigerated deli section of your supermarked.I think the tubes are 10oz. but am not sure. For the sake of the computer, I'll put down 10oz. I have bought the polenta many times, and have never looked at the weight. There's only one size that I've ever seen. The tube looks o me to be about 8-10" but I may be wrong. I'll go to the market and pick one up, and then post. If you make this, please tell me the weight so that I can correct my guestimation!

A take along snack, whether I'm heading south to hit the surf or here locally. Easy to grab and run. Cook time includes cool and bag time

Burger King's Whopper has always been my favorite. Now I have 2 favorites! Here is a great recipe, very close to Burger Kings Chicken Fries! I found this "copykat" on the net and after trying it, I'm very happy with it. Easy to make and you can throw it together fast with a crisp salad, and for the times that you have a little extra time, some corn on the cob will work nicely. You can use a little cayenne into the flour to spice it up.

To serve this, I suggest you sit around the table with plenty of serviettes. Fun to eat but kind of messy; a family favourite.

Once you taste these you're hooked! They are so good to munch on, whether it be for a quick snack, family movie night, or just about any time. You might want to double the recipe, because these will disappear fast. This calls for margarine, don't use soft-whipped or butter!
