I got this recipe from a friend. I make these often and take them to many potlucks, office parties, the cottage, picnics, children's lunch and the list goes on. Recipe from the cookbook "Just The Best."

    Recipe #110506

My aunt brought me these muffins along with the recipe and said that she felt she had to include the recipe so I'd 'understand' how healthy they were and that would explain the taste. Ha!! My dh and I loved the taste and the healthfulness of them and I have made them many times since. They are a heavier muffin (but moist) and very dark. And they do definitely have a healthier taste to them. Just the way we like it.

This recipe came from my cousin Gayle for my wedding shower.

Found this years ago on Cooking Light and have been making every since. Please do not leave out the black pepper it realy does add to these cookies. Preparation time does not include the hour of chill time that is needed before baking. DH says they are the best Gingersnaps he’s ever had.

This is a great recipe - I brought these cookies to a get together, and they were gone really fast, with requests for the recipe. They're flexible because you can use smooth or crunchy peanut butter, as well. Enjoy!

    Recipe #360115

This is a bakeoff recipe. I haven't tried it yet.

    Recipe #374742

I love tart lemon desserts. This is a recipe I found on Betty Crocker that looks very good.

    Recipe #266248

A friend brought these to a picnic. After one taste of the warm-from-the-oven cookie, I knew I had to have the recipe. These are now the most requested cookie by my family. The recipe makes a HUGE batch of big cookies, but they do freeze very well. The 5 dozen amount is a guess, I've never counted! We love these and hope you will too!

    Recipe #241166

I think that these are just about the untimate ginger cookies. If you don't over bake them they will maintain a softness that is so toothsome. Warning! These cookies are telepathic and will call to you from the cookie jar to come and get them.

    Recipe #188682

    Great with your morning coffee.

    Recipe #192775

This is the Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe from the Betty Crocker card file system, and more specifically from the green file from 1971, which the recipe was classified as Men's Favorites #22. I have seen many, many requests for this particular recipe in the Recipezaar Question & Answer forum. I knew about the recipe (from prior requests). To be helpful, I visited the Betty Crocker website and used their search option to find it whenever someone else asked for it again. And I would just post the recipe in the Q&A forum again. Well, that recipe is getting more difficult to find (as it seems that, with improvements to the webiste, older recipes just get buried even deeper!). So I thought I would post the recipe here, to make it more accessible on the Zaar site, especially for all the fans of the Betty Crocker recipe card files. I haven't made these myself, so I guessed on the prep time.

A fun blend of peanut butter cookies and frosting topped with holiday morsels! This sandwich cookie is perfect to make for a holiday cookie exchange.

    Recipe #197797

The secret to these best-ever, melt in your mouth shortbread cookies is toasting the flour and baking the cookies in a slow oven. Mmmm... Original recipe adapted from Desserts By Phipps in Toronto. Prep time includes refrigerating dough.

    Recipe #24016

Delicious and simple to make. This is a kid friendly recipe that grown ups love too!

    Recipe #355411

I found the original recipe for these cookies on allrecipes.com, and modified it to be vegan, as well as by changing the spices slightly. They are truly delicious cookies, and very easy to make.

    Recipe #20431

These cookies look so pretty and taste delicious. Recipe is from Family Circle.

Delicious and healthy, this popular muffin withstands the test of time. From the Mississippi Valley chapter of the United States Regional Cookbook, Culinary Arts Institute of Chicago, 1947.

I didn't hear about the Presidential Cookie Bake-Off that Family Circle Magazine holds during election years until this year (you can find out more about that on their website). Apparently the spouses of the candidates submit a favorite cookie recipe for people to vote for. When I saw this recipe that Michelle Obama submitted, from a close family friend of hers, I knew I had to make it. I haven't quit making it since - friends, co-workers, and family are always asking for it. When I had my first bite of it out of the oven, I had to cut and wrap them quickly, or else the delicious smell would quite likely have me eating them all myself. This is definitely going on my Christmas cookie platter this year... and every year!

Found on the net and posted so that it will be easier to find when folks ask for the recipe! Prep times are guess-timates.
