This recipe is given in grams; it's from a BBC food show. The dough can feel a bit crumbly but it's no problem. These are really good and chocolaty. I like to roast my hazelnuts in the oven. You make them fast and you can eat more of them since there is no butter in them good for lactose intolerants!!

    Recipe #60518

I had some pistachios in the freezer that I needed to use up and I developed this recipe. I think it came out quite nicely, not too sweet. Hazelnuts or almonds can be substituted for the pistachios (make sure to toast them first). Let me know what you think!

    Recipe #69884

These are great dipped in melted chocolate. These can be made with Splenda for baking.

    Recipe #104428

These are adapted from the King Arthur Flour Cookie Companion, and I'm really glad I tried them out, as they were perfectly coconutty and crisp. Dipping it in not simply chocolate, but melted peppermint bark, really gave it that Christmas flavour. If Christmas tastes like decadence, that is. Perfect for gift-giving.

This is a smaller version of my cream cheese coffee cake, but the ingredients are a little different too! These are very impressive little muffins, packed full of flavor.

    Recipe #188680

This is a fabulous coffee cake. Cream Cheese adds to the richness and it just melts in your mouth. I like to make this when I have a good friend coming by for coffee, as if I just whipped it up! Impressive and Yummy!

    Recipe #188681

This recipe came from the cookbook More Muffins. It's great in the fall with your coffee!

    Recipe #114874

This recipe came from a lady who worked in the Bell Canada cafeteria for many years. They were a favourite coffee break snack for most employees.

I got the original recipe for these from recipegoldmine, but I've made a few tweaks and think they are delicious! They are really light and fluffy with serious lemon flavour, great for any lemon lovers!

These are good for you muffins that are great as a coffee companion in the morning.

    Recipe #67377

These muffins are fabulous eaten just baked warm out of the oven... great to serve warm with stew or soup or anything! They freeze well for up to 1 month, just warm before serving. Use a slightly heaping tablespoon of baking powder for this recipe. If you like heat add in 1 finely chopped jalapeno pepper. Prep time does not include cooking bacon.

I love cranberries! And now, we can get them all year-round! You can use fresh or frozen cranberries (and you don't even need to thaw them!!). These are also wonderful with some chocolate chips added to the batter.

I'm sure you can use either Old Fashioned Oats or Quick-Cooking- It just depends on your preference.

A Canadian friend gave me this recipe a few years ago...if you like chocolate and cheesecakes, this ones for you.

    Recipe #10046

These muffins won 2nd place in a King Arthur Flour contest. I've been making them since my kids were babies and have brought them to many functions. The yogurt makes them fluffy and the almond flavoring gives them a special bakery flavor. You can substitute pureed cottage cheese for the ricotta.
