This is just a recipe I came up with when I was in the mood of tinkering a little, rather than following a recipe. Even people who like peanut butter have told me this is VERY peanut buttery, so you've really got to love it for this recipe!
WOW! Get this...a very low-fat muffin recipe that actually tastes great!! After failing at many attempts to create a really tasty, low-fat muffin, I came across this recipe, and it is really good...great for dieters!
These are healthy and hearty. They can be frozen in a zip-lock syle freezer bag and later microwaved individualy for an out of the oven fresh taste. Great for a quick pick me up! My husband appreciates these! The recipe is a personal adaption from another muffin recipe.
Monday is "muffins for breakfast" at our house, so we've tried lots of recipes! This one is at the top of the "Keepers" list. Dipping the muffin tops in butter and then sugar gives them a finished (and tasty) appearance.
Here is a knock out recipe for a moist filled muffin with a dazzling topping. It is moist and just excellent to have for breakfast or a super snack. It may appear to be involved, but not really. You will be happy you made these little gems! Enjoy!!
I made these for two picky young boys who stayed with us while their dad was in the hospital. It went over so well I had to make another batch! They are also a great item to store in the fridge for snacks or lunch boxes. Eat cold or heat for 30 seconds in a microwave. Hope yor picky eaters like them as much!
A delicious take on banana bread...in muffins! So wonderful you don't need frosting or butter on top! You may use all chocolate or half chocolate and half butterscotch, if you like. We prefer all butterscotch!
