We had this recipe for the first time at a friends house from our church. Everyone wants the recipe when they taste it. It is often picked as the top dessert for birthdays. Luscious! You can rename it for whoever it is made for.
I just came up with this recipe while trying to figure out what to do with some wheat germ I had. I must say, it's pretty tasty (although I love peanut butter on just about anything!!). This would be a good, healthy snack for kids. Wheat germ is a good source of Vitamin E and Folic Acid. * edit - I've just tried it using Grape Nuts cereal instead of the wheat germ and it is really good as well, so I am listing it as an optional ingredient. Of course the Grape Nuts are a whole lot crunchier than the wheat germ.
A recipe from the Dec/Jan 2k1 issue of Taste of Home. So easy and great fun for the whole family! To remove the marshmallow creme from the jar I use a rubber spatula & the fluff just sticks to it. Otherwise microwaving it for a few seconds at a time might make it release easier.

Thanks to reviewer input I've clarified the portioning of batter & I'd like to note that these are basically a "muffin top" instead of a crispy cookie. If you like the tops of the muffins but find the bottoms too dry, look no further! This is a great alternative to throwing out or gagging down a dry muffin bottom. lol BTW - Nothing against muffins, which I love in whole & make often. ;)

From the "International Vegetarian" cookbook. This yogurt is barely sweetened and ginger tangy. This is especially delicious after the traditional curry meal. Serve it on its own or as a sauce over papaya, strawberries, seedless grapes, or kiwi fruit. Note: prep time includes refrigeration time.
Been looking for the lemon delicious recipe I cooked many years ago but somewhere along lost the clipping (before ZAAR time) and this seems to come close to it though called a pudding (maybe searching in the wrong area) but it was good though sweeter than I remember (would need to work on the sugar content), certainly don't remember having the sprinkle sugar on top as per this recipe but I believe that what gives it its crispy top in this recipe. Serving suggestion was 4 but I think could be easily stretched to 6 served with cream and or icecream. i found that 1 lemon gave me the rind and juiced that but needed to juice a second lemon to get the full 1/2 cup (got a little more than that and added the lot).
Originally from VegNews magazine, this is a delicious cake for fall. The sweet potato taste isn't very strong, but gives the cake a subtle flavor and a beautiful color as well as adding a great texture without having to use a ton of oil.
Quick to make chocolate cake, mayonnaise is substituted for the butter. Light and Tender and very good. The Creamy frosting is very creamy, very good I just love it. It's not too sweet. A white icing that looks like whipped cream.
