Having grown up with these, I didn't realize that most folks have never heard of a wet burrito. It is a meat and bean (or all meat or all bean) burrito with a spicy gravy and cheese on top. They are available here in many restaurants, and no self respecting bar would be without one on the menu, lol! Once you try them, you'll never go back to "dry" burritos again! Don't let the long list of directions scare you, these are easy!

My mother gave me this recipe. She found it while clipping coupons. It is from S&W. This is the best stew I have ever eaten and my family requests me to make it quite frequently. It has become a "comfort food" for us. Perfect to make if you have leftovers after baking a large turkey or chicken. Can be made vegetarian or vegan if desired.
Enchiladas with a unique garlic flair, unlike any other enchilada I have ever tasted. The house smells WONDERFUL when these are baking. Although they do take some time to prepare, the work is definitely worth the reward! The ingredients are mostly things that you probably already have stocked in the cupboard. (Cook time includes stovetop and baking times)
I literally live on this in the summer when tomatoes are garden-ripe! I prefer this to cooked salsa, and I really load up on the cilantro. Of course, you can adjust the heat and any other ingredient as you wish, but this is the basic recipe. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
I spent 16+ years at Chi Chi's. This is the recipe you want. In the restaurant these are cooked right on the plate. (Remember... The plates are hot and then you touched them anyway. lol) You could cook them all together in a baking dish. Cook time and temperature may need to be adjusted if not cooking with a convection oven. Enjoy with your favorite spanich rice, refried beans and sweet corn cake.

These are pretty easy, tasty and are a great appetizer or snack before the football games start, or you could even add beans/rice and Margaritas for a meal! For a more South-of-the-Border taste, add some diced Jalapeno peppers or green chilies before frying these. ;)
Easy, blender free, slushy, margarita. Perfect for camping, the RV or just to have on hand for a quick and yummy frozen drink! Just dump it all into a tupperware type container and freeze! The alcohol prevents it from freezing solid. Prep time does not include freeze time.
When I was doing Weight Watchers and the boys were home, I got really tired of fixing 3 sets of meals each night. When I came upon this recipe - I just didn't tell them this was WW and to this day they still don't know. When the boys come home now - this is one dish they will request. Super fast & easy to fix on work nights.
4 oz. = 4 WW points (without rice)
*Note - in response to some reviews that experience the sauce being too runny or thin...extend the reduction time (after removing lid). It may take another 5-10 minutes to thicken and have the consistency you desire.
If served with rice and refried beans you will be rolling away from the table. I make these for tailgate parties at my house-keeps them full and happy!!!!!! Please note prep time does not include cooking the meat, which can be done a day in advance.
