This was my decadent tasting gift to myself this morning (in an attempt to avoid all the baked goods that keep cropping up at work this holiday season). I modeled it on toni gifford's Ginger Peach Oatmeal #112474 which I love and eat often. But this is just enough different that I decided to post it so I'll remember. I loved it, but I love candied ginger. In fact, I may add more next time.

If you want to add more flavour you can add roasted red peppers and marinated artichoke hearts.

    Recipe #64997

This has been my Mom's specialty for as long as I can remember. This is another recipe that people not from Mennonite background look at and just shake their heads! (Pudding from CEREAL!!??!!)However, to me, it remains a childhood memory and a traditional Mennonite dish that reminds me of my heritage. My mom always served this with strawberry or raspberry sauce.

    Recipe #80085

Nicely flavored Texas Toast to grill or broil. This uses Emeril's Creole Essence, which DiB's has posted recipe #11783.

    Recipe #92806

From Mafiosa's Cucina at HBO's The Sopranos BBs

    Recipe #159888

This is a pizza that I made up, and have made it twice now with people moaning through every bite. It is excellent, and you MUST use the Classico Alfredo sauce.

I found this on the web and posted it in response to a recipe request. I have not tried this recipe yet.

    Recipe #94491

These were inspired by an episode of House MD, where Dr. Wilson makes them. They have to be tasted to be believed. Please note that when I made these, I didn't measure the ingredients, I just threw it together, so you may need to alter the measurements slightly.

    Recipe #212384

From Cooking Light magazine. I haven't tried this one yet, but it sounds wonderful, and I'm sure it will be a hit with my veggie SO.

This may seem simple to most, but as an amateur chef I know I sometimes need help with basic cooking techniques! So here's a simple way to hard boil your eggs!

    Recipe #68491

I made this as one course of my Christmas Eve smorgaasbord. It looks beautiful but is a bit bland for my taste - Next time I make them I will add 1 tsp chili flakes. Perfect for a buffet. If serving this as a side dish !/2 roll per person is generous Each roll may also be cut into 8 pieces to serve as appetizers. The recipe is from a Safeway pamphlet.

We learnt this recipe at a cooking class at our favorite local Thai restaurant, Laos Thai Market. It is wonderful and so easy. Also, the perfect food when you feel a cold/congestion coming on.

    Recipe #31758

A favorite Tex-Mex breakfast. Serve with sausage or chorizo, refried beans, and warmed corn tortillas, if desired.

This is the food of the gods. You can reduce the amount of butter and pine nuts if you desire.

    Recipe #210266

This recipe is an adoptee from the RecipeZaar account, and I haven't tried it yet. I will repost here when I have tried the recipe. I won't change the recipe, though...it seems that people like it the way it is. Enjoy!

These are a delightful variation on the Mexican classic with just the right Greek touch. Quick and easy to prepare, they make the perfect appetizer or snack.

    Recipe #83202

This is an enchilada dish I made for my grandparents when they came to visit us several years ago. They still rave about it. I have made it quite a few times since. The sour cream sauce is always a big hit.

    Recipe #26865

These make a nice lunch or snack. If you have leftover fresh broccoli, chop enough to make 2 cups and use instead of frozen broccoli in this recipe.

    Recipe #87322

My wife really likes these. Several times a year she volunteers me to make them for potlucks and such at her place of employment. Sometimes, as I lay awake at night, I think these enchiladas may be what finally convinced her to marry me. (WARNING: If you don't like cheese,or if you're afraid of a little thing like a clogged artery, these are not for you).
