I haven't tried this yet, but will soon. I suffer from headaches quite often so it's worth a try. It came from "The Complete Guide To Natural Healing" like most of the other natural remedies i've posted.
Do you have sinus congestion with clogged ears? Well this is for you, very simple. This recipe was given to me by several nurses I work with; it's the same advice they give to our patients (pediatric through adult) and so they gave the same advice to me when I had these symptoms and let me tell you, it works wonders.
I'm sure you will go crazy for this recipe like I did when I first read it last Friday;) It's from the Weekend magazine, Trouble Shooter Q & A column by Rima Soni. I hope it'll help many! This is NOT to be eaten.
I read this one in the National Examiner, and they printed it from SkinCareIndia.com. Haven't tried it, but sound like it would be wonderful for dry skin. The honey locks in moisture and oatmeal soothes and softens the skin. Enjoy.
Easy, quick and a great cleaner for your teeth. The flavoring / extract are optional, the amount of drops is your preference. Store covered, use in place of toothpaste. This is less abrasive and effective. The salt also has the benefit of strengthing your gums.
I got this recipe out of a Mennonite cookbook.I was disappointed in the book until I tried this recipe. It was amazing. I had a very bad sore throat and after I used this gargle the relief was immediate and lasted for hours. My throat was completely better by the next day.
This is an antiseptic spray to use on small cuts and scrapes or to spray on dirty hands when you can't get to a sink. Can also be used as an air freshener. Please use only 100% pure essential oils. This is from the AromaThyme website.
This is from the book Natural Beauty At Home by Janice Cox. I've just made and used this for myself. It did burn me a little on my lips, but the burning sensation was gone when I rinsed my mouth with clean water. This mouthwash(which has anesthetic properties due to the clove oil in it) is good to use if you have sensitive teeth and gums. I hope you love this as much as I did!
This powder is awesome to use in the hot summer months when prickly heat/rash breaks out on the body due to excessive perspiration. It's best to stay cool at such a time. To do that, use this powder to stay cool and dry. I like to make a batch of this and store it in my refrigerator, so that when I apply this, I feel light and cool! Also, wear light clothing made from natural fibres such as cotton. My mom has always made me a new cotton lingerie ever since I can recall for every summer:-) This recipe is from the book Natural Beauty At Home by Janice Cox.
