These are moist, yummy muffins without all the fat and calories. I came up with this recipe when craving something sweet but not too much on the unhealthy side. They are quick and easy to make as well.

    Recipe #353185

A delightful savoury muffin that makes a great snack for morning/afternoon tea or a take-and-go breakfast on the run. Please use a firm style feta cheese for this recipe. Serve warm. Recipe makes 10-12 muffins. This recipe was an entry in the RSC#11 comp. You can add more feta cheese if you wish

    Recipe #283072

I saw a chicken recipe in a magazine in my doctor's waiting room yesterday. This is the sauce part of that recipe and I think would be great over grilled or roasted chicken, or fish. I added in the parsley as I have heaps growing in my garden and need to use it.

This is wonderful, delicious and warming for a cold winter's night and the best is .....it's so quick and easy. I use reduced salt chicken stock and season myself if needed, but have posted recipe as written. I have also made this recipe using the microwave using pre cooked chicken adding the chicken with step 2.

    Recipe #436764

Baked chicken is our favorite; this will work well when we have company since not everyone prefers dark meat as we do...Marinating not included in prep time.

    Recipe #436625

This is by Melissa Roberts from Gourmet September 2009. This makes a very yummy pie and is a nice change from apple.

I was tired of the pumpkin and leek staring at me -- asking me to do something with them -- so I did this. A recipe card from the green grocer gave me a few hints, but I consider this to be my recipe. It's a great warmer in winter, and not too bad served at room temperature. The ingredient amounts are forgiving, so don't be afraid to be flexible. If you want a vegetarian result, omit the bacon and use vegetable stock. Cream can also be omitted. The chili flakes make the dish. *Note: If you can get tinned/canned pumpkin, you can use three 15-ounce tins to replace the chopped pumpkin. If you do this, you can add the tinned pumpkin when you add the cream.

Mom’s potato salad was always just a little better then all others. She said it was her secret ingredient and her I am giving it up. Sorry mom. This salad can be eaten after 4 hours but is best served the next day.

These are from a cookie exchange and were so good!! Reminds me of coconut cream pie. Called Vacuum Bars because they get sucked up quickly!

A nice loaf for the lunch box! Walnuts could be left out and any dried fruit used. I have not added the soaking time in with cooking time.

    Recipe #432761

Saw this on a re-run episode of Paula Deen and it looked so easy and good! Put here to make soon...

This is my version of a spicy dish we had on our last trip to Chicago. It was served with white rice. Recommend Japanese Eggplant. Would also recommend thin skinned white potatoes so that there is no peeling.

I found this in a magazine, but have made a couple of changes to suit us.

    Recipe #250836

Published in Midwest Living Jan/Feb 2009 issue. This requires an overnight freeze and 2 hour chill time.

I make this in a 3 quart saucepan but if you a have small tagine or slow cooker use it. You can use boneless thighs too.

A great veggie side for a roast or grill. Regular potatoes can be used for this dish or a mixture of kumara and potatoes

This is a combination of several recipes using ingredients that I usually have on hand. I used the kind of ham that comes in 3 ounce packages with about 8 very thin slices. (Buddig is the brand if that helps.) For cheese I used one wedge of low fat Laughing Cow swiss cheese per breast. DH loved it so I thought I'd share!

From a feature in our local paper. I have based cooking time on having to cook the sandwich in 2 batches.
