Sweet squash and spicy sausage...Mmmm! A great fall dish. I made this recipe up after searching for the perfect stuffed squash recipe-I think this is it!The stuffing would also be delicious in turkey or chicken. The squash can be cooked ahead of time-you may need to bake longer after stuffing.
I hope you enjoy this simple homey recipe as much as we do. Perfect for camping on a cool fall evening as I can wrap it in foil--and then DH and I enjoy a glass of wine, or two while waiting:) Red pairs well with this.
This is a delicious AND healthy way to prepare butternut squash. This is the only way I will eat it! You may need to adjust the amount of olive oil you use depending on how big the squash is that you are going to use.
One night my mom made up this easy recipe and my daughter begs for it weekly! It's only 4 ingredients and takes 1/2 hour to cook! I have made it using fresh cut potatoes and it works out just as good, but just takes a little longer to cook. If you don't have a large enough skillet, I have included how to finish off in the oven as well. I hope your family enjoys as much as mine! PS. Tastes even better the next day!
WOW - who would have thought that four simple ingredients could be SO good?! My 14-year-old stepson calls these "Italian Cupcakes." This is just the basic recipe. I usually add chopped onion to the meat, and you can ad-lib with anything you have on hand: pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, seasonings, etc. But they are also delicious just like this, and SO easy to prepare! I have a pretty big herd, so I make these often when all the kids are around!
I threw this together one morning before going out for the day. It was super easy because only three ingredients are needed! Not only did the house smell heavenly when we came home, but dinner was ready and it was awesome!
This recipe includes an easy to put together marinade that gives chicken breasts a nice flavor. It is great served with Mexican Rice and tortillas. Recipe is from Sunset Magazine and was submitted by Cheryl Brown.
