One of my friends deemed this "Baklava Salmon" and the name stuck. The salmon & mustard go well with the honey, butter, and walnuts. We usually serve this with rice and steamed carrots or broccoli.

    Recipe #108775

This is a very easy stew with a rich tomato base -- our newest favorite.

    Recipe #268955

This delicious soup was "tweaked" by our friend Dick and delivered to us one night when I was recovering from a hospital stay along with some cornbread and a salad.

    Recipe #268965

This is sort of a non-pasta version of lasagna with a lot of vegetables. Quite yummy and healthy at the same time.

    Recipe #268840

This lovely, gutsy sauce goes wonderful with chicken that has been sauteed first, then gently simmered in the sauce to absorb all the flavours. No need to miss out on the pasta either, as green tagliatelle is the perfect accompaniment! Recipe courtesy of The Delia Collection: Chicken. We love this!

    Recipe #89951

Originally from Better Homes and Gardens, this dinner can be fixed in half an hour, yet could be served to company.

    Recipe #226318

This is very easy to make...I usually throw some shredded cheddar cheese on top....

When you live in the Pacific NW, you look for more ways to use cranberries. Just 4 ingredients make this tasty roast. I usually double the sauce, as we like lots of it.

    Recipe #178294

Simple but yummy. When my ds likes lentils, it has to be good. From hillbillyhousewife.com.

    Recipe #209227

My son picked this one up from a family cookbook in Arkansas; it has that perfect "southern" home-cooked flavor to it. In many ways, it actually resembles the good ol' "cornmeal cush" that the Confederates were able to make with their rations while campaigning.

    Recipe #209228

A deliciously flavored sauce to serve over chicken, pork, or pasta.

    Recipe #139778

A rather unusual Moroccan Chicken Pie that is both savoury and sweet. Traditionally, it uses pigeon or capon, but chicken is a good, and more readily available substitute. This is really good, so roll up your sleeves and give it a go!

    Recipe #62205

Healthy tasty chicken from my slimmers book.

So good broiled, wonderful luncheon or dinner with a Greek salad and rice pilaf. adapted from Canadian Living mag. (cook time includes 10 minutes marinating time) The photo shows them in a pita, have tried them both ways in and on, equally good either way, also so good just over rice, preferable brown rice.

I found this recipe in Kraft's What's Cooking Magazine for Spring 2005. I think it is a really delicious dish and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have! Note: reserve 2 Tbsp of the pasta cooking water - it's not listed in the ingredients, but you'll be needing it later.
