There are several recipes posted here for taco rings but all of them use crescent roll dough. Since my family prefers our dough to rise up into a soft, semi-chewy dough I use my original recipe for dinner roll dough instead. (Recipe #293120) There is more work involved, but a satisfying meal & rave reviews make it more than worth the effort. Prep time does not include the 75 minutes for making & rising the dough. But that is when I do the filling prep. For a step by step demo of the dough & ring click here: http://www.recipezaar.com/bb/viewtopic.zsp?t=274077

Like tacos, only neater to eat. In Mexico, they're often deep-fried, but baking them works well too. It's easier and healthier, and the tortillas still turn golden brown and crispy around the edges. Serve with salsa and sour cream.

Posting this here for Annie. (It's a long story.) If you don't use homemade stock use low-sodium beef broth so you can control the salt. You'll need to check your seasonings (salt and pepper) after making the gravy. This makes a little extra gravy for mashed potatoes or noodles or what-have-you. Prep and cooking times are approximate. You can do this! ETA: Thank you, Lainey, for the wonderful review. I was unclear in the instructions about the size of the patties if you had to cook them longer and I apologize. Change has been made specifying that. I'm glad you enjoyed them.

This recipe is not for the faint-hearted cook. It's very good, and it takes a lot of work. Don't waste it on someone who would be just as satisfied with steak and salad! This recipe is sized for a large cake pan. If you cut the recipe in half it will fit into an ordinary lasagna-size baking dish. Approximate measurement OK for eggplant, tomato mixture.

Here it is, my mom's FAMOUS Meatball recipe! This is THEE most requested of her for anything, anywhere! Whenever there is a shower, birthday, christening, etc., someone is asking for 150 to 200 of her famous meatballs. :) Of course, she always says yes! She is not one for "exact" measurements (a little of this, a dash of that), so I tried the best I could to adapt her recipe. Of course, these are best served with My Mama Iuliucci's "Don't Skip a Step" Spaghetti Sauce recipe #26947, but I have used jazzed-up jarred sauce and they are still great. However, meat-a-balls like these deserve a homemade sauce, in my humble opinion!

This is such an easy recipe and taste just like Cracker Barrel chicken tenders. You can not find an easier recipe for chicken tenders.

As we head towards the last weeks of the Zaar World Tour, I've been looking for Greek dishes that I plan to make in the near future. Lots of garlic and other good spices, this looks like a certain winner to me. As a one dish meal, it works well as a midweek meal and be suitable for reheating leftovers. If you omit the feta, this dish is suitable for the WW Core Program or you can easily count the points.

These buffalo chicken breasts are as good as buffalo chicken wings without all of the mess.

    Recipe #135585

Adapted from Company's Coming Make Ahead meals by J. Pare. You can also add green, red, or jalapeño peppers to the meat sauce if desired. You can also make this in 2 8x8 baking pans.

    Recipe #123098

This is great, with or without meat! This is also very easy to make, and may be made by a beginner cook with great results! This is also a family favorite, and is requested often for get-togethers in our church. :) This is low in cholesterol, low in sugar, and low in fat, but NOT low in flavor! Enjoy!

Great take on a mexi lasagna. My whole family loves this and it makes a great potluck dish.

    Recipe #292513

SparkPeople e-mailed this recipe to me today I'm going to post it here so I can find it when I want it. It is a "rich, flavorful honey mustard chicken with carrots and potatoes."

I found this recipe in the magazine SELF. It looks pretty good and is healthy. With 419 calories per serving, 10.4 g fat (1.3 g saturated), 59.8 g carbs, 8.1 g fiber, 22.4 g protein. This can be made ahead of time and heated up in the microwave for a quick lunch

    Recipe #298581

This recipe was given to me by my daughter-in-law when she lived on a Navy base in Seattle. It reheats well and the guys just love it!

    Recipe #246107

This is out of my Weight Watchers cookbook called "Take-Out Tonight!" This is an excellent low fat chimchangas recipe. It is baked, instead of deep-fried. The burrito comes out crispy with a moist and flavorful filling. This has 4 points per serving. You can top these chimichangas with your favorite salsa and, for an extra 1 point per serving, 2 tablespoons fat-free sour cream.

A lighter version of a favourite

    Recipe #144343

Quick and easy! Enjoyed by kids and grown-ups alike. When you're looking for something tastier than plain burgers. My own creation.

    Recipe #74532

A fast and healthier way to serve Chimichangas than the traditional deep fried. These are very good, and you may dress them up to you own preference. I like to serve with green chile sauce sometimes instead of the picante sauce.

The soaking water from the sun-dried tomatoes can be refrigerated for several days. The liquid adds a layer of flavor to salad dressings, or can be used in place of part of the chicken or vegetable broth in recipes.
