    There was a chain of Italian restaurants in the Columbus, Ohio area that had this awesome salad as their house salad. I don't like blue cheese, so asked for it to be omitted, but loved the combination of bacon, lettuce and dressing. When the salad was brought to the table, they then offered fresh ground black pepper. I think this recipe was posted in the Columbus Dispatch Newspaper. NOTE: Due to this being a restaurant recipe, it makes a alot of dressing, about two cups, so you might want to cut the amount of dressing to 1/4 or 1/2 of this recipe.

    This is my kind of favorite pizza. I have not try this one but this is almost the same as the one I did without any recipe. This is from the issue of November 2005, Coup de Pouce.     These quesadillas have lots of flavor. My sis found the recipe in the "Food Lovers Weight Loss Cookbook" put out by the editors of Health Magazine. The original recipe uses crab meat but I don't have access to good fresh crab meat. We've found that you can use just about any meat. I've kept it written low-fat but use full fat ingredients myself. In the book, these are paired up with a Pan-Roasted Corn Salsa that is quite excellent.

    Take Recipe #255242, 2 good quality Italian hoagie rolls, and good quality cheeses and dive in! This can also be made using meatballs in place of the sausage for an Italian Meatball Sub, or a half sausage/half meatball sub. :)
