I've been eating lower-carb since 1999. Here are recipes that I've created, eaten, and collected over the years which are either lower-carb (20 carbs and under per serving) or lowcarb (10 carbs and under per serving). Also some recipes from here on Zaar! (PS: please be aware that Zaar does not always calculate the nutritional values in recipes very accurately and often misses some lowcarb or low-sugar ingredients and calculates them incorrectly for higher carb counts.)

This recipe adapted from "The Georgian Feast: the vibrant culture and savory food of the Republic of Georgia" by Darra Goldstein is a nice departure from the regular egg salad. It also happens to be low carb! According to Ms. Goldstein, the name Azelila "comes from the Georgian verb ‘to mix.’ This version is piquant, in the Abkhazian style; the variation is more subtle."

I got this idea from Suzanne Somers in her book Fast & Easy. She uses chicken and adds some spices I'm not crazy about. I changed the recipe around to suit my tastes, and it's perfect for those of us Somersizing and on other low carb diets. Naked? That comes from the fact that these babies are pure filling, no wonton skins at all.
