I have not tried this but a co-worker has and loves it, so I thought I would post it. Its a recipe from Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital. Used for overweight heart patients to lose weight rapidly, usually before surgery. I am guessing on the time and serving size since I have not made this.
These are Delicious! I concocted this from three different recipes for the most watermelon flavor. The orange juice paired with the watermelon gives these popsicles the color of a beautiful sunset, which is a great time to have one.
This fabulous dessert is 3 WW points a serving and can be made with fresh, canned, or frozen fruit. It is adapted from a recipe in the "More With Less Cookbook." Incredibly easy to make, I fall back on this when unexpected company comes for dinner.
Soba noodles are easily found in the Asian section of your grocery store, you could substitute 1 pound of angel hair pasta for the soba noodles but the soba noodles are better to use ;-) Plan ahead this needs to chill for a minimum of 2 or more hours before serving, prep time includes chilling time. Add in some frozen thawed peas, steamed broccoli, or some cooked chicken or shrimp if desired.
Some time ago there was a post in the Tex-Mex/Mexican Food Forum asking if it was possible to find reduced fat recipes. This recipe is proof positive that it can be done. I have not tried this yet but will soon.
