    The secret to this wonderful recipe is the orange soda! Serve with sauteed chinese vegetables or steamed bok choy. Pork may be substituted for the chicken.

    A lower calorie and health version of an old favorite. Also known as how I got my son to eat Spaghetti Squash. Some times I tried to sneak in baby Portabella mushrooms, but DS never would eat when I did. Prep time doesn't include the cooking of the spaghetti squash which can be done in the microwave and takes about 13 minutes.

    This is the original recipe. I made it more like a cobbler (using no bottom crust at all to save on calories). Also, I used 1 tsp of apple pie spice in place of the cinnamon. It's rustic and homey and legal!!

    My SO is doing low carb, and even those not doing low carb know that pasta is a big no - no. But sometimes even " low carbers " crave a casserole that's full of cheesy goodness. ;) So, I decided to try to come up with a recipe that was low in carbs and still fit the bill for cheesiness.For the chicken seasoning, I used Weber's Grill Creations " Kick' N Chicken " seasoning.
