From All Recipes Reminds me of the salmon cakes my Mum used to make.

    Recipe #333385

I found this recipe in Organic Gardening magazine when my children were babies. It truly does make absolutely perfect brown rice every time! Never gummy. You can easily substitute it in recipes calling for rice without your family noticing (well, unless they dissect everything with a magnifying glass like my son likes to do)! *Please note: THIS IS JUST A RECIPE FOR BASIC RICE! It will NOT be fabulous alone! Use it for any recipe calling for cooked rice/ or spiff it up with the addition of garlic, onion, herbs, broth sub for water, etc. etc. It WILL be bland if served as is!

Bechamel is a wonderful white sauce that you can add on top of pasta, chicken, etc. dishes. It usually consists of butter and cream so this version is much lighter but with all the flavour. I like to use it on pasta instead of alfredo sauce. Enjoy!

    Recipe #401292

sounds pretty iffy, but it actually tastes pretty good

    Recipe #121318

My friend Laura shared this delicious recipe with me. This is easy to make, delicious and low fat! Enjoy!

While visiting my mom we found this recipe in a magazine. We tweaked on it a little bit, and instead of shredding the chicken, we just cubed it and rolled it up in the tortilla with everything else. It was delicious! My brother LOVED this! He couldn't get enough of it.

    Recipe #12875

From WW Take-Out Tonight. "The sauce in this dish is extremely versatile. Try substituting chicken, shrimp, scallops, or even skinless duck breasts for the pork in this recipe."

These cupcakes are so moist, so delicious, so RED, and so completely guilt-free, that writing extra words to introduce this recipe would be a complete and total waste of everyone's time. From Martha Stewart video, adapted from The New Southern Basics: Traditional Southern Food for Today.

I got this recipe from a man at work. His wife makes them and is evidently tired of being the one to make them all the time! LOL Easy , and oh so tasty!! This recipe is EASILY cut in half!! I oiled a pan and baked mine , but these can be deep fried also if that's your preference! Cooking time reflects the way I baked them.

    Recipe #305189

A fast and healthier way to serve Chimichangas than the traditional deep fried. These are very good, and you may dress them up to you own preference. I like to serve with green chile sauce sometimes instead of the picante sauce.

    Recipe #28148

My husband LOVES stroganoff but he needs to stay fit for work. He got this recipe from the abs diet. If you do the abs diet as well, or just looking for a healthier version of stroganoff this is a good one! Hope you enjoy as much as he does!

    Recipe #292769

Nice and creamy chicken dish from "The New York Times Cookbook"

    Recipe #236818

I made this for dinner last night--my family just woofed it down! This is a really great recipe to make a YUMMY meal in not a lot of time--30 minutes total! I have this little bitty chicken cookbook that I found at a garage sale called "The Chicken Book". I'll be trying some more of these recipes and posting the good ones.

    Recipe #125589

This is my recipe for Chow Mein. I can usually make this at a drop of the hat. If you have leftover meat from another meal, you can use it in place of the ground beef - about 2 cups of cooked meat. Also, if you use chicken, use chicken bouillon instead of beef. Most chow mein recipes have mushrooms, but I don't use them because of an allergy. This can be served with rice or chow mein noodles.

    Recipe #301466

This recipe comes from Better Homes and Gardens Diabetic cooking.

    Recipe #71631

We love Alfredo Sauce and also have to watch the fat content. Smart Balance Margarine makes a spread with 67% vegetable oil that you can use in cooking and that's what I used.

    Recipe #56081

Low fat but you get to enjoy the puff pastry due to the use of such low fat ingredients in the filling.:) the totals are still well below a low fat diet number. Found this in cooking light. Their values are: 388 calories, Fat 13 grams (2g saturated, mono 3g, poly 7g) carb 45.7g, chol 34 mg.
