An easy light lunch or supper. It is great for kids lunch boxes.

    Recipe #36412

These are the main reason I go to the fair. I had to learn how to make them so I didnt have to wait for only once a year

    Recipe #49924

This is an indulgent calorie-filled delicious dish my family loves.

    Recipe #252690

From Cooking Light. You can prepare the chicken salad the night before. You can also substitute baguettes for focaccia if you would like.

    Recipe #179448

I made this for brunch this morning, so thought I'd share.

    Recipe #98340

Please use only Swiss cheese for this recipe, I have made the mistake of using another kind of cheese and it just doesn't work! Purchase a 14-ounce (397 gram) package of puff pastry, and use half for this recipe. The original recipe for this does not call for garlic, but I like to add it in... of course, it is optional.

    Recipe #131471

No your usual rich crust to these. These are a good breakfast food. My daughters heat them up in the microwave for a fast breakfast or a snack.

    Recipe #52216

Great for breakfast, picnics or just a snack.

    Recipe #94624

These serve as a great appetizer, but I've also used it as a meal (the serving size would probably be different)! They are unbelievable and I've received so many compliments on them.

    Recipe #43687

Posted on request by Di Neal. Nice presentation and pretty easy too!

    Recipe #77593

Mrs. Walker was my Sunday school teacher and we used to do this in the church kitchen, occasionally. This is my first memory of cooking that I cherish to this day. She keeps her age a closely guarded secret but is rumoured to be 115+ years old and perhaps, immortal. She has out lived three husbands and four children. She is still sharp as the Bowie knife she carries in her purse. I don't know why she carries a Bowie knife in her purse- but she always has. I asked her about it years ago and she said, "You would be surprised how often it comes in handy, Honey." I suppose it does, Mrs. Walker. God bless you. BTW- she is thrilled that I want to pass this on to another generation of schoolchildren. She was surprised that I remembered doing this with her over 35 years ago and was touched. When asked how to do it- she rattled off the instructions faster than I could write! I've eaten this bag-n-boil recipe for 40+ years with no toxicity what-so-ever, obviously. If it was toxic... I would be in too poor of health to type. Google the topic for yourself and make your own judgment. The danger is greatly exaggerated.

    Recipe #132052

I like this recipe because it uses already prepared ingredients found in your produce department with the packaged salad greens. Great egg rolls without all the work for those after work meals. (of which I need often) Leave the chicken out for vegetarian egg rolls or substitute shrimp for seafood eggrolls. Keep the oil hot and fry quickly to keep egg rolls from becoming greasy. They only need to brown and crisp, not cook. Frying only 3 or 4 at a time while rolling the others will make it easier to keep track of both the rolling and frying at the same time (unless you have a helper in your kitchen to do one or the other). Serve with my easy sweet and sour dipping sauce (recipe #112947) for a real taste treat. Since preparation (rolling) and cook time can be done at the same time, times are approximate. Recipe came from my friend and co-worker, Teri. Thank you Teri!

    Recipe #113223

The mayonnaise in place of the butter makes the bread toast evenly and gives a similar yet different crispiness. This is how they made it on the grill at a diner I used to frequent, the kind where the grill is behind the counter and you can watch. CAUTION: using low fat or no fat mayo or even miracle whip will change the outcome of the final product, the first 2 contain water and the second sugar that does not act in the same manor as an oil or fat sub.
