    This is our new family favorite sandwich! YUM!! Based on a delightful sandwich served at a local market-cafe here in the California wine country. I hope you enjoy. :)

    Hot roast beef, mature cheddar cheese, and a buttery horseradish-dijon sauce combine for this delectable baked sandwich combination that is served on soft Kaiser rolls!! A classic! Perfect for luncheons or entertaining, or packed into picnic lunches; great served warm, or at room temperature. Use as much roast beef and cheddar cheese as you like! Sandwiches are easily made up in advance and individually wrapped in foil, then refrigerated or frozen (use a freezer bag) for later use. Defrost overnight in the fridge, then bake as directed. Or, if frozen, bake at 300 F for about 1/2 hour until warm. Enjoy!

    The name says it all--this sandwich is big, thick and buttery, with a slight kick from the horseradish! Very quick and easy to prepare, makes a yummy lunch or simple dinner. Serve warm, with a pickle spear and chips, add a cup of soup or side salad for a more substantial meal. A side of Avocado Horseradish Spread recipe #284084 #284084 makes a tasty dipping sauce. May use sliced oven roasted or deli roast beef, or my Shredded Beef (Crock Pot) recipe #269126 #269126, pile it on as thickly as you wish, and I hope you enjoy!

    Holy moly this is some great guacamole! Freshness is key here--you want to use the best quality & freshest ingredients you can find for a great guacamole. Helpful Tip: The addition of white vinegar is optional--it helps retain the bright green color of your guacamole (may store in an airtight container in the fridge, for up to two days). Serve your handmade guacamole with warm tortilla chips and an ice cold beer or margarita, and your favorite Mexican meal (tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, chile rellenos). Enjoy!

    This is an uncooked tomato salsa (salsa fresca) that's great to make while fresh tomatoes are in season. Stir pico de gallo into chopped/mashed avocadoes to make guacamole (see my recipe #112059), or serve as is with warm tortilla chips and Tex-Mex food (tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, burritos, chiles rellenos).     Ordinary yellow mustard gives a distinctive flavor to the marinade for these beef kebabs. The heavenly smell that fills your kitchen while you make the marinade lets you know it's going to be good. Serve with assorted grilled vegetables (like cherry tomatoes, zucchini, mushrooms, bell pepper, and corn on the cob), and baked potatoes. Beverly is the food editor of the local paper- her father used to grill these. Recommended for Father's Day menu.

    Awesome grilled chicken kebabs with pineapple chunks and veggies! This is a must try, your family will thank you!!! Quick and easy recipe with no need to marinate in advance--just assemble the kebabs and grill immediately.
