Another magazine find. Hope you enjoy!!!!
The recipe calls for Tabasco sauce, but you can use your favorite. It is also recommended that you either use the thick slice bacon or either double the amount of bacon if you are using the thin slice. Cook time is mostly "chill" time. one of those dips that gets better as it sits.
Another recipe from my "Gifts in a Bag" recipe book. I have made all the dips from this book and all of them are great! When having a large party I prepare all of the dips, so every one can have their favorite tastes. Cook time is chill time.
We love this dip and make it all of the time because it is so simple and tastes great. I can usually have this from refrigerator to table within 10 minutes. You might want to start with less garlic and adjust according to your taste. We love garlic.
You've heard of jalapeno poppers, now try dill pickle poppers! We tried these for the first time at Razzoo's Cajun Restaurant in Dallas, TX and loved them. When I came across this recipe in Taste of Home magazine, I knew I had to try it. Serve with ranch dressing or if you like spice, try the recipe for jalapeno mayonnaise included here.
My husband had this at work several years ago. He liked it so much that he got the recipe and stopped at the store on the way home to get the ingredients. He made it for us and that was our supper that night! It's been a favorite in our house ever since.
After countless attempt of trying to make the traditional bloomin onion recipes, I came up with this one. Friends always request this when they know I am coming to a get together. It takes a little extra work but it is so worth it! I never bring any leftovers home.
