    Left Over Creations! Pasta Sauce

I make a huge pot...maybe two of pasta sauce. I freeze half and use the rest to make some other things(I may freeze the other things too!). Here are the recipes I've found to "Spread Out" my pasta sauce! Oh, if you make extra plain pasta - which is always wonderful - to reheat it I've found: 1) bring some salt water to a boil, making sure to use enough water to cover the amount of pasta you are reheating, but you do not need as much water as when the pasta was originally cooked. 2) When the water comes to a full boil add the leftover pasta. 3) It takes about 30-45 seconds then drain and use in your favorite way!

Looking for a way to use up that leftover Tomato Sauce you made the other day? What better way than to try this ziti recipe! You can use canned sauce, but homemade is always better! Hope you enjoy this recipe! My kids practically grew up on it

    Recipe #94978

A quick and easy way to prepare a tasty and filling pasta dish, originally from Mr. Food. Just use your favorite bottled spaghetti sauce. You can use any shape of pasta. I do add more cheese, but I love cheese!

    Recipe #38669

This is a quick dish I like to make when I need to get dinner on the table in a hurry. If you like a zestier ziti, use a hot Italian sausage. Note: cooking/prep time does not include time for cooking pasta.

    Recipe #186352

Got this from an on-line friend. My whole family loves this! Mix different pasta shapes together.

    Recipe #133413

After trying grilled eggplant on a pizza I was hooked! I changed the recipe so much that I have posted my version. Use more or less sauce, I like mine saucy! My DH, DS and DD all said it's one of the best pizzas they have ever had, and my DH doesn't even like eggplant! Enjoy!

    Recipe #178237

I went to a Pampered Chef party where this was served. Many people asked for the recipe! Update: I have revised this recipe due to people having trouble with the instructions. I hope this makes it easier to follow.

    Recipe #51152

You can of coarse use your favorite meatball recipe for these, but the ingredients listed here makes a great mini meatball with lot of flavor, or see my recipe #69173. Purchase the longer crusty rolls for this. You can prepare the meatballs and simmer in the sauce, then refrigerate until ready to use. Prep time does not include making the marinara sauce.

    Recipe #153825

This is my own recipe I have been making for over 30 years, you may use 2 pounds of all ground beef or 1 pound each ground beef and ground pork. Try to purchase extra large firm bell peppers with flatter bottoms so that they will stand straight in the baking dish, and for a softer bell pepper you may par-boil the peppers firstly turn upside down to drain for about 30 minutes or more then stuff as directed (see bottom of the recipe) ----- see my recipe#136292

    Recipe #155963

Store bought pasta sauce makes this dish easy but you may use homemade pasta sauce for this recipe, Classico Tomato and Basil flavor pasta sauce works well for this, the success of this recipe will really depend on which pasta sauce you use, you may increase the sauce amount to taste, zita or penne pasta can be used in place of the rigatoni if desired.

    Recipe #164669

I have made this easy recipe many times, it is really good, make certain that you purchase a larger crusty Italian-style bun that will hold up to the sauce --- yield is only estimated depending on how large you make the patties, and all ingredients can be adjusted to suite taste :)

    Recipe #132819

This is not hard to throw together, I make this quite often and my family loves this casserole!

    Recipe #119092

I have been making this recipe for years, it is *the best* manicotti recipe hands down! --- I have made this many times for dinner parties and have made it for socials and large gatherings increasing amounts of coarse, I have even served this at my Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday table as an extra dish along with a turkey or ham --- to save time I always mix up the filling a day ahead and refrigerate this will also give the flavors a chance to blend together, or you may prepare up to step #9 cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours --- don't forget to cook the spinach first before using for this recipe

    Recipe #72308

If you like tons of sauce then double all ingredients, this can also be cooked in the oven instead of on top of the stove using an oven proof skillet, this is even better better the second day! --- see my recipe#136292

    Recipe #142385

This is a really great recipe for Chicken Parmesan! Plan ahead, the chicken has to soak in the egg/water mix for 1 hour.... Try using smoked sliced ham for this, it's really good, although the recipe does call for ham, it is still really good made without it, just with the cheese and sauce on top of the breasts.

    Recipe #119205

All ingredients are just estimated, I really just throw this together without even measuring anything, it is a really tasty dish, I have even made this using skin-on chicken legs it is still wonderful, just make the same as directed only bake a bit longer, if you are an olive-lover then you will love this! :)

    Recipe #121214

This fast, easy recipe is a real family pleaser! I have used this recipe for many years as my good old stand-by for potlucks and tailgate parties. I have also baked this recipe in two smaller pans, keeping one for my family and bringing the other over to a new mother or neighbor as a welcome gift. This is my version of one I found in a community cookbook called "Enough to Feed an Army." (NOTE: Updated the amount of the spaghetti, I also now use a smaller box of pasta in this, even though the original called for a 1 pound box)

A hearty dish for a cold winters night that will feed a crowd! Use all sweet or all hot sausage if you prefer.

Here's a twist on meatloaf. This one's made from turkey and loaded with flavor.

    Recipe #43007

I have wanted to put my electric skillet to use more often-this came together very well. I used recipe#51209-Pizza Hut Style Pizza Dough (bread machine)by Cullinaryjudge. Please follow those instructions if using that dough recipe.

I don't know what to tell you other than this is by far the best Cannelloni recipe I have ever made. I love the fact that you use egg roll wrappers for the pasta-I'm not a huge pasta fan, and it uses chicken and pork(I'm not a Veal fan). Excellent sauce and very cheesy! This is a versital recipe, you can use leftover turkey in place of the chicken, or leftover roast for beef cannelloni. I serve these with Classic Caesar Salad (43328) and hot garlic bread.
