    These very easy mushrooms won a blue ribbon at the Arizona State Fair in the early 90's. These are great appetizers or even for a meal itself.

    I used a recipe #66040 which flavors this Yummy good! Use care when seasoning for the cheese does add salt. If you don't use a compound butter do add a couple cloves of minced garlic when sauteing the onions.     This is my idea of comfort food -- tender, juicy beef in deliciously thick sauce. Simple, too. (And if you need further convincing, it also happens to be gluten-free, dairy-free, alcohol-free, and low in saturated fat.)     My grandmother and I came up with this recipe when I was about 15. I liked to cook and she loved showing me new things. We wanted something different and these ingredients we just happened to have in the house or garden. We were both totally suprised at how great it really was. It quickly became a family favorite.
