    Lee's Gggrrreat Grnd Beef Dishes

Cover photo by WildFlour. I have gotten tired of looking for recipes for using ground beef in my Prime Beefs ckbk! So I finally created this new ckbk...for ground beef only! There are some really FANTASTIC buger variations here. The one I'm partial to is the Killer Provolone-stuffed Pesto Burgers Killer Provolone-Stuffed Pesto Burgers from peacefulnightdove! This tastes like lasagna.

    Recipe #29972

This is a delicious dish with flavorful ground beef and a creamy, cheese sauce.

    Recipe #448980

This recipe is wonderful. Easy to make. My kids who do not like zucchini ate it all and refused to believe that's what it was.

    Recipe #285422

I couldn't decide if I wanted burritos or nachos, so I made my own concoction. This dip is very easy and makes great leftovers!

    Recipe #423547

A good five stars with the sauce. This is DH's favorite meal and mine too right now. Modified from The Complete Middle East Cookbook by Tess Mallos (She is Greek). This is well worth the effort. Serve this dish with mashed potatoes or it tastes excellent served with Recipe #322603 used as a bed of rice for laying the zucchini on. Along with a fresh salad this will be a wonderful meal.

    Recipe #369509

ZWT6 Scottish & British. Containing marmite first produced in the United Kingdom. Meat pies are available from chip (french fry) shops. 5 stars on http://www.taste.com.au

This is a Pillsbury Bake Off recipe.

    Recipe #130871

I got this from epicurious.com and it has fast become a favorite with my three children. It's delicious - what made with puff pastry isn't delicious - and unbelievably easy. Makes a great appetizer and finger food (say for a ball game or other party) as well as the way we have it, for dinner. You can experiment with different fillings, adding ingredients like mango chutney - go crazy. It's all good. Note that the beef mixture goes a long way, so you might want to have an extra box of puff pastry on hand if you want to keep making them and freeze them - or you can use extra beef mixture heated up in a roll for a sandwich, which is equally good, actually.

These have reached comfort food status in my house. Very easy to make, spices can be added to personal taste, same with types of cheese, sauce, etc. This can easily be adjusted to a lower fat version by adjusting the ground beef fat content, biscuits and cheese. I am sure there are lots of these recipes or similar variations floating around the Zaar.

    Recipe #383269

This is a quick and easy meal. Serve with spaghetti or vermicelli noodles. From Canadian Living Magazine.

I got this recipe from Tricia and it quickly became a #1 fave!

This is excellent. A friend at work gave me the recipe and she got it off the internet. I made it tonight with a few minor changes and loved it. It makes a lot but reheats well.

From our local paper, times are estimated with cooking time being oven time and reducing the sauce. Could be a appertizer with salad.

These wontons are much healthier and lower in fat than those made with ground pork (especially if you use extra lean ground beef). They freeze really well, so you can make a bunch and freeze them for later use (just steam them straight out of the freezer).

    Recipe #369112

This is from Kaboose, adapted for my family. Great soup! You can add more veggies if you like. You may like to try this with beef broth, it's up to you..

If you can "Country Fry" chicken, pork , and beef cube steaks, why not ground beef patties ? Well, with this recipe you can.:) When handling the "steaks" please take care when turning over in the egg/milk mixture, because they might crumble. And the same goes for turning over in the seasoned flour. For easier handling of the "steaks" you may want to freeze them for about 1/2 an hour or until they are slightly firm.If desired please adjust seasonings according to your tastes. For a true comfort meal serve with your favorite mashed potato and green bean recipes.Submitted to "ZARR" on November 21st,2008
