This recipe is courtesy of Riki Kaspi a local chef who specialises in Moroccan cuisine. Enjoy! Prep time does not include marinate time.

    Recipe #481372

I originally posted this with the wrong name, so please ignore the bad review. It doesn't seem the reviewer tried making the soup and is posting based on mistaken name only. This recipe is passed down from my grandmother to my mother to me and it is fantastic! The challenge of making this soup is in keeping the yogurt from curdling. It needs to be stirred consistently while cooking. Enjoy!

    Recipe #266721

Found on epicurious.com. Sounds like it takes awhile to prep, but based on the reviews, sounds like it's worth it.

    Recipe #465164

A recipe that I came up with after skimming through seemingly hundreds of recipes that either had ingredients that I can't eat or ingredients that we don't like... Perhaps you will like this too, and if so, enjoy!

I just love lamb shanks and am hoping to try this soon before lamb goes up to much in price. The recipe is from our state daily paper The West Australian. Verjuice is made from white grapes, so at a pinch you could use a dry white wine.

Usually I am not a fan of Hueys recipes, but this recipe is wonderful. I found this recipe whilst watching Hueys Cooking adventures and copied it! Great outcome.

    Recipe #395816

This is a traditional 'Sunday Lunch' dish. The orzo (a kind of pasta that is shaped like large grains of rice) cooks in the liquid released by the lamb and tomato and becomes very tasty. Many make it with a cut of beef suitable for roasting, cut into large pieces, or even with chicken pieces.

I love lamb. This was posted in the PARADE (Sunday insert). I'm looking foward to trying it as it doesn't seem that difficult. I look forward to feedback :-)

    Recipe #121504

This has been our Easter dinner almost every year since 1993, when I first tried this recipe published in the now defunct Modern Woman magazine. It was contributed by a reader named Helen Pappas, who suggests to readers that they use dried oregano instead of fresh for a more authentic Greek flavour. The potatoes alone are so delicious that I always have to cook extra and even then, I seldom have leftovers!

This Tomato and Mutton or Beef Stew recipe is a firm South African favorite. The stew recipe is easy to prepare and makes a lovely rich tasting dish. The dish is best if made a day ahead and reheated for serving.

This recipe comes from a high end golf course chef. Super tasty! I make this in my crock pot after cooking all the veggies.

    Recipe #383255

    Preparation time is marinating time.

    Recipe #101846

Lamb cutlets or chops marinated with lemon. Can be cooked on the grill, BBQ or frypan. Please note preparation time includes one hour marinating time.

Simple to make and classic mint and lamb taste. I like to serve these with jacket baked potatoes and some steamed green veggies and carrot sticks.
