My mother gave me this recipe. She found it while clipping coupons. It is from S&W. This is the best stew I have ever eaten and my family requests me to make it quite frequently. It has become a "comfort food" for us. Perfect to make if you have leftovers after baking a large turkey or chicken. Can be made vegetarian or vegan if desired.

    Recipe #114558

I have posted this recipe in response to a request for WW low point soup. It is taken from the WW Family Fave cookbook. This recipe serves 4 and each serve has a points value of 1/2 point.

    Recipe #111022

I almost never eat "red meat" so this chili with chicken instead of beef became a very good alternative. Can also be made with red beans, kidney beans, chickpeas or whatever you fancy.

    Recipe #107457

Interesting flavor from the combination of squash, chicken and fruit. Low calorie recipe

I got this recipe from Cooking light and it is great. I served with a sourdough baguette and it was the perfect meal. Only 4 points for Weight Watchers. Serving is 1.5 cups.

    Recipe #53343

I've tried this recipe with broccoli, cauliflower, and leeks (the white parts of three large) as well as combinations of them all, but am sure it would work with many other vegetables. It is a great way to get rid of extra veg, as well as a very healthy starter course to a meal.

    Recipe #86094

A yummy Weight Watchers chili recipe that you can whip up after a long day at work. Serve with my WW corn bread recipe. 5 points per 1 cup serving

    Recipe #87433

This is a great soup to eat for those of you who are dieting. It is free (0 points) on the weight watcher program. Full of good nutrition.

Found this Caribbean twist to a great winter time dish! This can also be prepared with out the meat or using ground turkey. My family loves it! Also brought it to work and they raved!

    Recipe #83612

I created this recipe to be low fat but to still have taste and flavor. Only 6 grams of fat in the whole pan! (WW= 3 pts for 4 serving and 2 pts for 6 servings. The whole pan is only 12 pts!!) Hope you enjoy it!

    Recipe #112263

A great throw-together lowfat meal. (2 WW points). Freezes well for make-ahead lunches. Sometimes I add garbanzo beans. This is from the Secrets of Lowfat Cooking cookbook, a great resource.

    Recipe #66064

This was a staple during my student years as it is incredibly cheap and ridiculously easy to make. Then we would dine off lentil soup for several days, just occasionally adding water when it had somehow thickened into a gloop (or used the gloop as a sandwich spread!).

Yes, there are a ton of gazpacho recipes on th zaar. But this one is slightly different. Very yummy, from "Weight Watchers Miracle Foods" cookbook. As written, each serving (1 cup) is 2 WW points. I used diced tomatoes primavera (with carrots and zucchini) and olive oil infused with garlic. Feel free to use what you have, though. Cooking time is chill time.

Sweet Hungarian paprika is the secret ingredient that makes this chili mild but bursting with rich flavour. The three kinds of beans are pretty, but you can use whatever beans you have on hand. And for all you folks that think that "real" chili doesn't have beans, I can only say that I don't want to make a historically authentic Texan dish - I just want a way to cook my healthy, high-fibre, low-fat beans, and I refuse to call them "Chili flavoured beans with ground beef." So there.

    Recipe #78755

Roasting brings out the natural sweetness of the vegetables. Try substituting in red potatoes, turnips or rutabagas for a delicious change. Recipe comes from Weight Watchers, points 1.

    Recipe #103238

Pumpkin lends color and nutrients to this zesty and flavorful dish. This Chili Mexicana recipe can be found on VeryBestBaking.com's website and will also be included in the Zaar World Tour 2005 swap, Mexico.

    Recipe #138314

My mother got this recipe at a Weight Watchers meeting about 15 years ago. I have never been able to find the recipe anywhere since. This recipe is fast, versatile, and my husband loves it. Add any frozen vegetables you like. It makes a large batch, so I always have leftovers to freeze. Please don't let the ranch scare you off, it give the stock a really nice flavor. Have fun playing with this recipe by varying the veggies, adding meats, or even grains like barley.

This is so easy to make and tastes amazing. Points...2.

    Recipe #72242

This is a comforting, stick to your ribs soup. Great on cold winter days. Roasting the vegetables helps bring out their natural sweetness. Recipe comes from Weight Watchers, points 2.

    Recipe #102939

This is a quick and simple, no-fuss chili. I am a huge fan of spicy foods, but I chose to make this chili a bit more mild to suit the tastes of my family. Please feel free to adjust the "heat" with cayenne, or even fresh diced jalapeno to suit your taste. This chili can be topped with sour cream, shredded cheddar, or your favorite hot sauce. The leftovers make great meatless burrito wraps.
