This cheesecake is a recipe rescue! A healthier cheesecake alternative. It is made without a crust, making it low in fat. But if you make it with your favorite crust it's still going to be a lot lighter than many other cheesecakes.

DD loves her cheesecake and DH loves his lemon meringue pie, so to please both I thought I would try this recipe I found in Good Taste Magazine. They both liked it but both thought it needed more lemon flavour, so I have adjusted some of the ingredients to suit their tastes. I have not included cooling and chilling time in preparation time.

This is not a recipe for the health conscious. It is a recipe of indulgence. It can be frozen for up to 2 months.

I love Spanakopita. This recipe appeals to me because it has the basic tastes, without all the carbs. Makes a great breakfast, lunch or dinner. Recipe was gathered from an unknown source and put here for safe-keeping.

From a Jewish Cooking website, this recipe sounds quite intriguing to me as I love cherries and have never seen them used in this way before.

People have a weakness for this New York Cheesecake, I tell ya! Its very rich...Normally I would divide the cake into 20 portions....But if you can take all the richness, 16 portions will be great.

Kreplach are a type of small, filled, savory pastry, usually boiled. They are similar in form to won-tons, but the flavor is quite different. Kreplach are typically filled with meat. These are filled with cheese and are baked. From: So eat, my darling, by Naf Avnon

This makes the most wonderful blintz! If you make these in an 8-inch skillet you should get 9-10 blintzes, make lots and freeze them. The batter needs to sit for about 30 minutes before using. If you are filling these with a sweet filling then increase the sugar and vanilla slightly. Try to warm your cream or milk up in the microwave slightly just until about room temperature before adding to the batter.

This was submitted by Jayakrishnan to Young Times in 2004. My Dad loves these :) Enjoy!

I have been making these for years for my get togethers and I sometimes make these using phyllo dough but puff pastry is really just as good and more convenient --- I sometimes add in roasted garlic into the spinach mixture and also a pinch of cayenne pepper for a bit of heat --- these are so good and make wonderful appetizers!

Blintzes are out of this world and a great comfort food. These are to be served with sour cream or perhaps you'd like them with a fruit syrup. Courtesy of torahbytes.org.

Easy summer dessert from Kraft. I actually made these as blackberry, rather than blueberry, and substituted a 21-ounce can of blackberry pie filling I had on hand for the jam and the blueberries.
