This is a recipe I made up tonight using some different fruits than our normal American Fruit salad in an attempt to get my kids to try something new.

These grilled steaks sound delicious! Taken from the June 2009 issue of Chatelaine magazine.

    Recipe #190539

Wonderful sprinkled over fritters, donuts, pancakes I could go on and on. Best made when flowers are newly out.

    Recipe #190508

From Flavours of the World by Paul Gayler. He recommends serving this with a spicy roast leg of lamb, or a roast chicken.

    Recipe #190504

I know this sounds like an odd mix but it is really good either on its own as an appetiser or with chargrilled veggies hot from the grill. Recipe comes from the south of France via Paul Gayler. Please buy the best jam you can afford.

    Recipe #190540

More from Paul Gayler's Flavours of the world, havenot made this yet but sounds straight from heaven. Would welcome any comments if you make this first. His recipes look complex but are easy to follow and come out really well every time.

These are really yummy and I make them every year for the Christmas holidays. I especially like them stored in the fridge and eaten cold but they're great at room temp too!

My sister got this recipe from one of her in-laws after falling in love with it a few years ago and it’s been our family favorite ever since! It’s so good with practically any meal, whether a mundane weeknight dinner or a more elaborate thanksgiving feast. Also, although it truly does taste the best with the cream of mushroom soup it can be made with any cream soup (I usually use broccoli cheese or 1 cream of chicken and 1 cream of celery because of picky hubby!). Oh, and I like to add a sprinkle of onion powder to the mix too! Edited to Add: I've been mixing 1/2 cup breadcrumbs and 1/2 cup parmesan cheese for the topping instead of just breadcrumbs. It's really good that way too!

I wanted to make BBQ pork tenderloin in the slow cooker, but not pulled pork. This worked out nicely so I thought I'd post the recipe so I can make it again. Hope you enjoy it too. This was easy to slice, though could have easily been shredded as well. Served with rice to put the extra sauce on, along with a veg (I used peas and carrots). I only cooked 1 pork tenderloin and had lots of sauce leftover so you might only want to double the sauce if you do 3 or more tenderloins I would guess?!?

The garlic smell through the house while the chicken is baking is to die for! Would be good served with some crusty bread or garlic bread.

This makes a great lunch or snack and is low-fat. Great for bringing to work or school and can be eaten hot or cold. I like it with Braggs sprinkled on top (but I'm known to add braggs to any rice or couscous dish for extra flavour!). Could also add some cooked chicken to make a main dish, maybe with a side green salad or additional steamed veggies.

Okay, well spaghetti is, (and always has been), my favorite food in the whole wide world. I absolutely love it every which way. This is my final, favorite recipe after years of trying different recipes and finally tweaking them all to my liking. I like it served with garlic bread and sprinkled with lots of parmesan cheese. This recipe has some optional ingredients that definately aren't needed, just added extras! I also use this as my base recipe for other pasta dishes (like lasagna or by replacing the ground meat with Italian sausage slices for a sausage and pepper penne, etc..)
