Recipe #402784

This is an old recipe of my mothers, though I am not sure where it originated. I am not a fan of lime or even marshmallows really, but this stuff is dee-lish! I always serve it with Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter dinner. When I cook birthday dinners for family, it is requested then as well.

My grandma makes this and it's so good. It sounds strange, but really it's good! She says it's great for a mold or you can double the recipe and put it in a 9x13 dish.

This is a favorite from my childhood. I always use orange jello, cause it's the way mom made it. But you could easily substitute other flavors. Very low fat if you use fat free coolwhip. Keeps well for days, and is great to bring for potlucks. Can be made in a pretty jello mold or just in a bowl and scooped with a spoon.

This recipe is really easy! My grandmother got this from her favorite restaurant and it's sort of been a staple for the family Thanksgiving dinner. I've also made this for company gatherings and it's gone over really well.

My step-mom first served this salad and it has become a family tradition since. I always make it for holiday dinners and one year I decided to try new things as I was a little tired and bored with the regulars. I didn't make this one year, and my grown son told me that I should not mess with tradition - this salad WAS the holidays. My kids all call this 'the green stuff'. ZWT West (Hawaiian pineapple).

For a "light" version of this recipe use sugar-free gelatin and reduced fat whipped topping.

I've been making this easy dessert for more than 20 years. I love it just as much now, as the first time I made it! You can make it with lemon or orange jello, too.
