This is just as good as the Olive Garden. On a difficluty scale from 1-5 this is a 3 to make. We just love it! Please note: this is an adopted recipe and I hope to make it soonest. If you make it before I do than I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks ! ZWT REGION: Italy.
This is similar to the Penne Rustica at Macaroni Grille, but I was very surprised to see the Copycat recipes on Recipezaar and how different they were. This is an easy dish to make and is very good, even if it's not an exact copy of the original. If I'm short on time, I use the precooked Italian Chicken strips and Classico's Tomato Alfredo Sauce instead of the 2 sauces. This recipe is very forgiving if you're short on some of the ingredients.
Need I say more? Olive Garden, great, tasty Italian food for the whole family. My family loves this super easy and Delish recipe. COOKS NOTES: Leftover cheese filling may be kept in refrigerator for 2 weeks or frozen up to 3 months. Also makes good filling for manicotti. If using flat cookie sheet...be sure to form a "rim" so that melted shortening doesn't run off.
Using foil helps with clean up:)NOTE: This is an adopted recipe and now that I have tried it myself I can only say: full credit to the previous owner for a wonderful recipe, I am lucky indeed to have become Mama to this one. Enjoy :)
Preparing this lasagna takes just 10 minutes because the noodles are not precooked. Raw noodles are layered with ricotta and mozzarella cheeses and surrounded with a tomato-wine sauce that cooks the noodles until tender. Can make up to 24 hours in advanced.
This is similar to many Baked Pasta dishes but with the distinct flavors of pizza. I created this recipe yesterday and took it to a dinner party as the main dish. It was a big hit and every woman there asked for the recipe. I decided that anything that popular should be posted here. You do not have to use the same kind of pasta I did...but should use a pasta which will remain slightly firm after boiling and baking so that it is not mushy. NOTE** I've had several people ask about when to add the spices...you can either add them to the sauce or to the sausage when you cook it. Either way works great! Since this recipe is an original creation of mine, it tickles me so very much that lots of people are enjoying it! Thanks everyone!
Posted in response to a request; obtained in an online search. Sounds so delicious that I'm going to have to try it SOON! The OLIVE GARDEN menu describes the dish as: Tuscan Garlic Chicken is a flavorful blend of herb-seasoned chicken breasts sautéed with oven-roasted garlic, sweet roasted red peppers and spinach, served in a white wine and garlic cream sauce and tossed with curly fettuccine. (Prep & cooking times are guess-timates!)
I have found a new love... blue cheese! I have been trying to find new ways to use it in recipes. Today I was watching hot of the grill with Bobby Flay and he made these beautiful cakes. Panko bread crumbs are Japanese bread crumbs. They help give a light crust to the cakes. This recipe is a great way to use leftover mashed potatoes! Hope you enjoy them!
This comes from a cookbook from a local realty business. I have not tried it, but the name caught my eye! I read the ingredients and thought this sounded like a delicious "slushy" drink! I am dedicating it to a much loved Zaar member who goes by the name of Iron Bloomers! LOL!
