I got this recipe from an app on my iphone. Note the picture has the rice under the beef biryani instead of in it. My husband likes it that way but it should be mixed in.

This is just down right awesome. So easy to make and taste just great.

    Recipe #187477

A copycat recipe from Panda Express. This chicken is tangy and flavorful. Give it a try! I'm sure you and your family will enjoy it.

    Recipe #103215

I learned this recipe from my mom and I still love it! While it does take some time to make, the outcome is just as good as take-out! You will need a Fry Daddy or a frying pan with oil in order to fry the meat. Put enough oil in the frying pan so that the meat can float to the top.

    Recipe #44163

Make this only if you are a lover of spicy Indian food! To save some time you can grill or broil the chicken up to a day in advance, make certain to soak the wooden skewers in cold water for a minimum of 30 minutes before threading, I have stated the least amount of heat level, but this recipe requires a certain amount of spice, for more heat increase the cayenne pepper and jalapeño pepper to suit taste, Plan ahead the chicken needs to marinade for 4 hours. This complete recipe may be doubled to 8 breasts but you will need to make two separate recipes in two separate bowls for the yogurt marinade (4 breasts in each bowl) the sauce recipe may be successfully doubled into one recipe but use no more than 2-3 tablespoons fresh garlic if you are doubling the sauce. Cooking time is for grilling the chicken and for making the sauce.

ghee is wonderful for baking, frying, even taking straight for ayurvedic medicine. all the good fat is there without the proteinaceous impurities of butter. if you are a vata type like me, eating ghee often is enjoyable and healthful!

    Recipe #71031

This is a recipe that's delicious and will go well with your favorite curry.

    Recipe #6582

This is a fairly easy recipe for fried rice, yet it tastes really good. Good recipe to impress your loved ones. This is my favorite recipe for fried rice, especially when I am in a hurry, and not really in an 'all-day-in-the-kitchen' cooking mood:) Note: This is not a chinese fried rice which is usually more moist and can be eaten by itself. This is more of an Indian, or Sri lankan fried rice that is usually dry and is eaten with curries. I thought I should explain since some of you might be expecting more of a 'chinese' kind of a fried rice :)

    Recipe #12874

A dish from the Delhi region. Cuts of boneless beef can also be used in this recipe, but the true flavor is in the lamb. Serve with some rice, pakoras or samosas and a nice crispy salad! :)

An Indianised way to cook cabbage, and our favorite preparation of the vegetable. If you have a grinder, take the trouble to roast and grind the coriander seeds - the freshly roasted flavor is worth the effort.

    Recipe #104861

Found the recipe on an Indian cooking website & believe it to be the same dish that my friend Raksha used to make for me.

    Recipe #172775

An Indian meal is not complete without rice to soak up some of the liquids of the other Indian dishes that is piled on and around it.

    Recipe #21855

A Southern Indian (Goa) inspired dish. Vindaloo usually means the hottest curry one could imagine.

These pot stickers are 100% better than any you can buy and well worth the extra effort. I like to make them and then freeze them so all you have to do is the final steps just before you serve them. I make them every Christmas to have as a quick appetizer. One review commented that she had trouble with them sticking together when she defrosted them - I have not had this happen however to be sure it doesn't happen to you defrost them separated. I have also fried them directly from the freezer. They only take a few seconds more to cook.

These spring rolls, served with dipping sauce are a favorite at our house. While they are a little tedious to make, the recipe makes about 20, so they can be frozen and then just thawed the next time. Cook time is approximate, it will depend on how many you make, and whether you need to do them in batches.

    Recipe #34488

A spicy side dish. Serve with chutney and a salad.

    Recipe #283483

This recipe, adapted from Steven Raichlen's "Big Flavor" cookbook is a winner. Easy to make, and very tasty. Have sauce made and veggies prepped before you start cooking. Sub snow peas for green beans when in season - delicious.

    Recipe #391103

    Delicious one-pot meal.

    Recipe #316697

Yummy rice with an extra crunch.
