You are welcome to select your choice of chunky or smooth peanut butter. Or, your choice of grape, strawberry, or whatever flavor jelly you love! Make it your own! Don't forget to add the gelatin, however! The gelatin is used to offset the peanut butter to keep the ice cream from turning crumbly when hardening. Cooking time reflects cooling time.

This makes a very rich and creamy chocolate ice cream. Be sure for best flavor, to use a premium, high quality chocolate. If you do not like the bitter taste of the chocolate, be sure to add extra sugar (you can add up to 1 full cup). The Cook Time reflects freezing. Note: To make Belgian chocolate ice cream, stir in 1/4 cup rum or 1 tsp rum extract and 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts. To make Mandarin Chocolate ice cream, add 1 TBS grated orange rind and 1/2 tsp orange extract or 2 TBS orange liqueur.

If you are a blueberry lover, you are in for a real treat! This rich and creamy ice cream is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth! Using fresh blueberries is always best, but you can use frozen (See note below). Cook time reflects chill time. From Williams-Sonoma.

Someone bought me a Ben & Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream & Dessert Book (title). This book is great it tells how to make most of their flavors and some. The book can be ordered at the bookstore for about $8.95. The reason I like this ice cream is because you can freeze it and it is like the store bought hard ice cream. I do not eat it right from the freezer because to me it is to creamy. French Vanilla

Use over ice cream or my Cream Cheese Pound Cake with Strawberry Sauce (recipe #51739). You won't be disappointed. When I make this using fresh strawberries, I cut the strawberries in half, put into the food processor with about 1 cup of sugar and the orange juice and process until well combined. It's a winning combination! From Southern Living.

You can use either fresh picked berries or frozen with this recipe. Do not use boxed raspberries if you use frozen. You do not need the syrup. Strain the seeds from the puree for a smoother sorbet. From Cuisine at Home.
