The way Butter Pecan Ice Cream was meant to taste!! This ice cream is so creamy and delicious you will never want to buy it again!! My suggested serving is with Caramel Sauce (see recipe I posted recipe #117551). From The Inn at Little Washington. Cooking time reflects freezing time.

    Recipe #117552

My sister in law shared this recipe with me a year or so before I married into their family. Since then, I've never been able to make ice cream for an event without everybody asking me for the recipe. It's great to add ingredients (fresh fruit, chocolate, nuts, etc) but still incredible just Plain Vanilla Ice Cream. With left over egg whites I always make recipe#111009. Use Organic Milk and Cream for the ULTIMATE Homemade Ice Cream

    Recipe #108114

My Mother & Aunt spoke of having this ice cream often while growing up in Topeka. Since I wasn't sure of exactly what kind of brown bread to use I went searching. This is what they remember it being like than other recipes posted. Note: Prep & cook times are estimated and does not include chill time.

Growing up in Kearney, Missouri in the '60s & '70s the only place in town that had a true soda fountain was Matthew's Drug Store. On very special occasions we were allowed to order a Homemade. Gently warm the toppings for the best results.

After doing a thorough seach, I decided to come up with my own recipe for vanilla ice cream. After all, ice cream is an important base for serving my mom's chocolate sauce :) My results turned out an ice cream that is not only rich in flavor, but creamy and smooth. If you are a fan of rich, creamy and smooth - you are going to like this -- especially when paired with Lee Lee's Famous Chocolate Sauce for Ice Cream (recipe #19678) I hope you enjoy this!

    Recipe #135624

I made this recipe after falling in love with Coldstone and Carvel's Cake Batter Ice Cream. I recommend using Splenda instead of sugar since there is sugar in the cake mix. You can use 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract if you please. You can also use 3/4 cup of cake mix. THIS RECIPE IS TO USE WITH AN ICE CREAM MAKER (MINE IS BY CUISINART)

    Recipe #128952

Found this on allrecipes.com posting here for safe keeping!

This is posted for the ZWT 2006. I have not tried this recipe yet, and it is compliments of http://www.mexgrocer.com/mexcocina-aug3.html THIS REQUIRES A ICE CREAM MACHINE.

If you like the taste of caramel/butterscotch, you'll love this ice cream. Time for ice cream maker is not included.

I have LOVED Home Made Ice Cream every since I was a small child. We had it very frequently in the hot summers of in the state of Iowa, USA. We received a hand crank gallon ice cream freezer for a wedding gift 43 years ago. I tried several recipes that were OK but not exactly to my liking. I experimented & finally came up with a recipe I really liked. In 1989 I entered my Home Made Ice Cream in the Clark County Dairy Wives Recipe Contest at the Clark County Fair near Vancouver, Washington USA. I served the two judges my ice cream and talked dairy products a few minutes. I was shocked to win First place for my recipe. We always have this ice cream in our home freezer. My favorite is just plain Vanilla. You can add fruits or fruit syrups to add flavors to your liking. Nuts can also be added.

These are a great way to use fresh raspberries. Prep time includes refrigeration/freezing time (8 hours). Cooking time incudes processing time. (Recipe source: Bon Appetit (July 1984)

    Recipe #121699

Laced with chewy toasted, shredded coconut. Requires an ice cream maker.

    Recipe #120731

This is amazing! It really does taste like a slice of gingerbread. I used leftover diced pieces of SueL's Gingerbread #44268, which i highly recommend. The ice cream is good plain if you don't have gingerbread or chocolate to add to it. It's very flavorful and rich, so a little goes a long way.

easy tastes just like pumpkin pie with the whipped cream... cook time is the machines time in chilling...

    Recipe #81245

This recipe is in response to a request. It's an Emeril recipe from 2001.

    Recipe #41023

I don't have an ice cream maker yet, but when I finally get one, this is a recipe I definitely want to try out. This is a 1-quart recipe, but it can be doubled for a 2-quart ice cream maker. Adapted from the Land O'Lakes website. Prep time may vary depending on the ice cream maker.

This recipe was posted in answer to a message board request. It was one of many recipes that came with my ice cream machine. Cinnamon ice cream is yummy on warm apple pie, baked apples, bread pudding or just in a bowl by itself, on a hot night. Freezing time for this recipe is 30 minutes in my electric ice cream machine. Time may vary according to the manufactures directions for your ice cream maker. Cook/Prep times do not include the 1 to 2 hour chilling time needed before processing/freezing the cooked mixture. Note: The egg yolk gives the finished product a better texture.

    Recipe #67382

I had eaten this at a family get together and later a friend at work gave me the recipe. I just got around to making it this weekend. I have already had several request for the recipe. If you like banana splits, you will love this.
