These pretzels are so ugly their 'oogely'... What better name for them (can you say it 4 times, fast?). They are not very attractive, but the taste is outstanding! The pretzels are not very sweet because they are made to go with the dip. If you prefer not to use the dip, increase the sugar in the dough.
Chutney is a tasty ingredient to have in your store cupboard. Good on crackers or with grilled fish it can also make a turkey sandwich something special. It can be served warm, cold or at room temerature. This version goes particularly well with pork and chicken.
Use day-old blueberry bagels from the bargain rack. Wonderful flavors in this bread pudding. The baking time varies depending on your baking dish size and depth. Serve with Derf's Recipe#13681 or any Custard Sauce on Zaar. Whipped Cream is nice as a topping as well. An orignial recipe.
A quick and easy version of a robust Italian winter dish. It's versatile - use these "dumplings" as a pasta or a foundation for the entree (maybe my Smothered Mushroom Chicken? #113125). This recipe doubles or triples and works well with a simple tomato sauce, butter and sage, or with butter or good olive oil add a grind of black pepper and some Parmesan cheese. For my Smothered Mushroom Chicken recipe, this should be tripled.
I do love food blogs, and I do love pears. When I came across this recipe on a favorite blog I knew the Gods of Serendipity were smiling down on me that day, even more so that I had too many ripe pears in the house at the moment. I've made a few changes to suit my own tastes, listed in the recipe below.
This is a no-guilt version of this French import that won't break the budget. The rice crust is unusual but very yummy. Even my kids love this and I have to make two at a time for my family to get enough.
Beautifully moist and yummy. A friend at work gave me this recipe.
I hope you will be able to understand this recipe as it is in metric and I don't know how to convert to imperial measurements. I have not made this recipe myself as yet as I only received two days ago after my friend made it for us all at work. Since sending this recipe in I have mad the cake and it is so easy to make and it is so yummy and moist. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.
A hint of sesame oil compliments the flavor of the peanut butter in this satisfying salad that makes a great make ahead meal. A lot of different Thai recipes call for peanuts, this ones a bit different with using peanut BUTTER instead.
This is a fantastic dish that anyone can eat. It uses whole, fresh foods, and it's dairy free, gluten free, sugar free and vegan. Whenever I make it, I know everyone will love it. It's one of my all time favorite recipes!
