You'd never guess that this came from Cooking Light Magazine. I prefer this with vanilla ice cream. The cake magically bakes into two layers - one cakelike and the other with yummy praline sauce..

    Recipe #147490

This is definitely not your ordinary cake! My sister makes this on special occasions and holidays. Recently had a dessert party for an upcoming bride and with a table full of desserts this one was the most raved about cake. Don't let the name fool you, it's delicious served with the compote and fresh berries. Beautiful presentation. Thanks for sharing Brooke! Everyone has requested this recipe. It's awesome.

This recipe is the best chocolate pudding cake I have found. It is from Mollie Katzen.

    Recipe #22366

Is there anything nicer than the smell of apples and cinnamon? This is such a comforting dessert. Easy to make and low in fat too. You probably already have everything at hand. A good friend gave this to me many moons ago. I believe she got it from a women's group in Meaford Ontario. This is also terrific baked in individual ramekins or onion soup bowls. For a change of pace, try adding raisins or whole cranberries to the apples prior to pouring on the batter.

I created this recipe for my mother who loves Pistachios. Since the first slice was served I get requests for this cake all the time. Friends and family actually get mad when I don't bake one for a party or cook-out. The cake comes out extremely moist and the frosting is to die for. I use the frosting method for all frostings, by changing the pudding flavor (chocolate pudding for chocolate frosting etc…). I’ve always use instant pudding mix in this recipe, so I’m not sure how sugar-free or non-instant puddings will work. Have fun and enjoy, I hope it’s as big a hit for you as it is for me.

This double-delicious pudding cake will please any of your guests. Serve it with a dollop o f cinnamon ice-cream--it's perfection.

Moist cake with a caramelized sauce, baked to create ooey, gooey bliss.

    Recipe #141475

Rich and gooey, full of blueberries.Starts with a cake mix and goes from there. Slightly different from the other blueberry pound cakes already posted. Works with frozen unthawed or fresh blueberries. The glaze is optional at my house.

Bake a variation of this dense rich pudding cake and make Mocha Almond Pudding Cake.

    Recipe #108988

This is the most delicious dessert, and easy to put together, a great ending to any meal. This can also be made with apples, but use a firm apple such as Granny Smith for this recipe. I usually stick this in the oven, and bake it as we are having dinner, and serve it with ice cream as a topping...so yummy!

    Recipe #103718

serve warm or cold with whipped cream for dessert.

    Recipe #96403

My favorite dessert! Comes out cake-like on top and pudding-like on the bottom. Adapted from a recipe from Cooking Light Magazine.

    Recipe #90353

One of those magical cakes where you get a sauce on the bottom and a cake on top. This one is a bit healthier and lower in fat than many desserts. From The Vegetarian Gourmet's Easy Low-Fat Favorites.

    Recipe #68312

Brownie pudding cake takes on an irresistible partner- Peanut butter. Together these flavors make this fudgy dessert a winner with kids.

It's blackberry season in Seattle and this is one of our favorites. It's quick, easy and a few blackberries go a long way.

    Recipe #69300

Don't let the list of ingredients keep you from trying this recipe. It's actually pretty quick to throw together, and fairly simple. This recipe can easily be doubled and baked in a 9x13 pan if you need 12-16 servings, which is what I usually do. You can serve it with a scoop of ice cream or sorbet if you'd like.

    Recipe #166056

This is off a King Arthur Flour bag. It says, "This rich chocolate cake is ultra-quick and simple to prepare. As it bakes, a delicious fudge sauce magically forms in the bottom of the pan; to serve, spoon the cake and hot sauce into a dish, then top with ice cream or whipped cream (if your diet can handle it!) Serve this cake hot (or warm) from the oven, or at room temperature; as the cake cools, the sauce thickens into an applesauce-like consistency."
