This is a quick, simple, and inexpesive way to freshen your home. No toxic chemicals, all natural recipe from another informative website.

    Recipe #151701

From Knox Gelatin. You can use essential oils, extracts or your favorite perfumes. Yield depends on the size of the jar used.

Tea tree oil and thyme essential oils are antiseptic, antifungal, antiviral and are great for use in the home. As the testers pointed out, it's perfectly fine and effective if you use other essential oils with the same properties. Lemon and lavender are favorites of mine. :-) Use only essential oils.

    Recipe #185340

I'm so picky about clean, streak-free windows and mirrors, and this stuff is great. With the ammonia and rubbing alcohol, this has disinfectant properties. I have spray bottles of this in each bathroom, great for a spritz and wipe of the sink and toilet each morning. I also have my toilet brush sitting in a crock with this for a quick swish.

Vanilla is so popular as a fragrance in everything from bodycare to candles and air fresheners---it has that secret something that draws us in! In tests done by the Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation in Chicago to understand the impact of smell upon sexual arousal, it was discovered the smell which arouses mature men the most was vanilla. In addition to being an aphrodisiac, soaking in this fragrant milk bath is very soothing and will make your skin soft.

After reading many different crock pot potpourri recipes I came up with this one, and my house smells wonderful! :) If you don't have a small crock pot, just use a sauce pan and simmer on your stove. These are fun to throw together because you can use what ever you want to create the scent you want and you can't really mess up. I used the spices sold in the cellophane bag, they are very inexpensive and are usually in the Hispanic section of the grocery store.

You'd never think that you could make ornaments from applesauce and cinnamon... but it actually works! They smell yummy, but I don't suggest eating them!!! I guess you could though! Don't blame me if they taste bad though!!! lol! I just wanted to show you all a good 'ornament' recipe!

Don't remember where this came from, but it seems easy.

    Recipe #217604

When I was little and lived in the country I used to visit an older couple. Once when I was stung by a bee my "adopted grandmother" made this to take away the sting. I've also included directions for getting the stinger out.

After hearing about the famous Hershey Spa and being too far away to visit there, I decided to come up with my own recipe for Chocolate Milk bath. Here it is...

    Recipe #84973

This makes an excellent gift. Make sure you make some for yourself too though because it really smells wonderful. Please note, you need to use whole cloves. Ground cloves are much stronger and will definitely overwhelm the other scents. If you aren't a fan of cloves, feel free to leave them out entirely. I do sometimes.

This is so nice smelling and very easy to make.

    Recipe #200695

I had tried most everything to clean the porcelain enamel grates on my cooktop with little success. Then I read the use & care guide that came with the cooktop. How simple is this! NOTE: I used a plastic trash bag with a tie top. When entering this "recipe", a plastic bag wasn't recognized but a ziploc was. Ignore that "ingredient" ;-)

Is your laundry looking dingy? Are you seeing spots before your eyes? To keep your washer spotlessly clean, it is important to remember to give it a once over every six months, or every three months if you have hard water. Is your Dish Washer dingy? Chef #248023 inspired me to make this after I made her Recipe #256951. Shea butter is known for its cosmetic properties as a moisturizer and emollient. As well as an anti-inflammatory agent. Shea butter can be effective at treating the following conditions: fading scars, eczema, burns, rashes, acne, severely dry skin, blemishes, dark spots, skin discolorations, chapped lips, stretchmarks, wrinkles and in lessening the irritation of psoriasis. Also provides natural UV sun protection but don't rely on it as a sunscreen because it filters out only little amounts of UV rays. Shea butter absorbs rapidly into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. It can be bought on line.

WOW! No streaks, no smears, no buffing. This will clean ceramic tile counter tops, windows and their vinyl casings, SS appliances, sealed wood AND it removes hairspray from mirrors. So far that's all I've tried it on, as I came up with this recipe just this morning. I've been a cleaning fool today, experimenting on everything. I love it...Let me know what you think.

This cleanser is so simple. You probably already have the main ingredient in you cupboard. It leaves your sink and your pots sparkling clean without the use of harsh chemicals or perfumes.
