    Easy Calzone Dough (Bread Machine)
    Handle
    3 Reviews |  By Nick K

My personal favorite bread machine dough for my calzone. A great set it and forget it recipe. Enjoy! Also, if you don't plan on cooking right away, the dough will stay for up to six days in the chill chest. Simply take the unused dough (after rising) and story in a ziplock bag, sprayed in the inside with some cooking spray.

I got this basic recipe from another site but changed it a little for my family. The original recipe called for orange juice as the liquid instead of milk. I also added the vanilla as we think it gives it a nice flavor.

    Healthy Pumpkin Belgian Waffles
    Handle

The original idea for this recipe came from the Bisquick website. I have made significant changes to it to adapt it to my healthy lifestyle. This recipe freezes extremely well, hence the large quantity. It's great to make on a Sunday morning, and pull out of the freezer for a quick breakfast treat during the week.

These are a variation of a recipe posted here already. I've increased the amount of mix and made a few changes to the ingredients to use what I usually have on hand.

Breakfast Burritos (Once a Month Cooking)
    Handle
    124 Reviews |  By Tish

Great for that run in the morning breakfast. You can also take frozen burritos with you when going camping. Just place the bag of frozen burritos into the ice chest, and by the time you're ready for breakfast the first morning, the burritos are fully thawed. Then simply reheat them in a large skillet over the campstove or fire grate.

I'm borderline hypoglycemic, so I need a good breakfast to help keep my blood sugar stable until lunch (often with the help of a small mid-morning snack). However, I have a hard time eating breakfast due to a long and nasty habit of not eating it, which likely led to borderline low blood sugar in the first place. SO, thanks to the great breakfast burrito recipe by Tish (30165) I started experimenting with new ways to make these things. So far, this is my favorite way to make them.

    Amazing Homemade Pizza Rolls!
    Handle

My DH loves those frozen Tony's Pizza Rolls....I'll eat them too, but....what exactly is in them?? We probably don't want to even know! These are MUCH better and at least we know what we're eating!! Buy extra sauce for dipping if you'd like, but they really don't need it. Also, add/omit any ingredients you like or don't like. Make them to your own taste of course. This is what we like in them.

    Skillet Pizza Crust
    Handle

An easy way to prepare pizza crusts and freeze for later. Of course, you could use them immediately! I like this recipe b/c as a "single babe"... I'm mostly cooking for one these days and like being able to pull an individual-size pizza crust out of the freezer for a quick dinner... or when I have unexpected company!

I make these every Fall. (Because that is when my garden is done with for the year.) I have tons of potatoes to use and without a root cellar they need to be used. I have no idea how much I really make. I just do up all the small and ugly ones.

If potatoes are on sale, buy a bag and make your own frozen french fries. Prep and cooking times are approximate. The true time will depend, of course, on how many fries you make and how thick you cut them.
