I was served this wonderful dessert at a friend's house for dinner and asked him to please let me have the recipe so I could post it here - It is a Julia Child! I love it because of the texture and not overly sweet. He used sour cherries instead of the rhubarb. You may use your favorite Jam or preserves instead of the rhubard. It really is easy to make if you follow the instructions.

A delicious and fairly simple to prepare roast chicken recipe. The key is in the attention you give the chicken while it is roasting, the more you baste, the juicier it will be! This is a delicious recipe on it's own but is also a wonderful base recipe for anything that calls for shredded or diced cooked chicken. Would be great to roast a few and then keep the shredded chicken/chicken pieces in the freezer for use in salads or on sandwiches.

This is a perfect recipe for achieving a soft, smooth and shiny skin every where in your body,in just few days.I love this care as its very easy to use and there's no need of extra work. I had such an extremely dry skin ,that I was always embarrassed to go in front of any one or ,My hands were so dry that I used to hesitate to even slide the credit card. Then I dont know how this idea came to my mind, and I tried it.It was a miracle.once my hands got Ok.I tried upon my face ,and it brought a glowing skin to my face.Try patiently for at least a week and see the difference. I had heard that milk is an excellent cleansing agent ,but i never believed before this. Actually the LACTIC ACID present in the milk removes all the dead skin and stops letting it grow, and at the same time conserves the moisture of the skin too.

We go to Hawaii every year for holidays. I absolutely love Hawaii...but it does not like my skin!!! Between the No-Seems that bite my feet and ankles to bits....the pavement and sand drying out my feet....the aligator skin I get after the sun, I needed to come up with some intense skin treatment! The condos we stay at do not have bath tubs and I couldn't do my regular bath regime, so this treatment helped considerably with the itchness and the dryness. I loved this so much, that I use on a regular basis in my bath tub and scent it with my favorite scent oils. Heavenly!

Commercial baby oils are typically made from petroleum based mineral oil which is questionable for use on skin. This is a good alternative and also makes an excellent baby massage oil. (Use only essential oils and don't use them on your baby without dilution.)

For babies and adults alike suffering from rash and itchies. Calms and soothes. This recipe came to me from a skin care instructor suffering from keratosis pilaris aka those tiny bumps on the upper arms you get in the cold months.

A former hairsylist turned me on to this secret for a cleansing shampoo for color-treated hair. Commercial cleansing shampoos are made to throughly cleanse your hair (ie remove all product build-up), but they also strip color. This homemade version helps to prevent stripping of color, but also throughly cleanses your hair. It is also much cheaper and can be made with products already in your home. I love it and use it once per week!

This recipe came from the article in Essential Cleansing magazine. I didn't want to risk misplacing it, so I'm posting it here. They recommend removing peels if non-organic.

Green apples and lemon are great for liver cleansing. Drink a few times a week. Brown rice syrup or agave nectar may be substituted for maple syrup. Recipe from Chef Alex Jamieson's web page.

    Recipe #120173

From "The Body Bible" by Pamela Allardice. I have made this once and it worked well as a cleanser, great to use before having a scrub. I found that the granulated lecithen took ages to dissolve so next time i might grind it in a mortar and pestle and see what the results are. This mix goes a long way, I made mine last year and I am still using it.

Ginger, Beet, Apple, Pineapple & Carrots make up this cleansing drink. This is a great alternative to that morning coffee. On the run this is made quicker then the coffee and can be put into that mug to take on the road.

Hairfall can happen due to many reasons such as stress, poor diet, hormone imbalance, lack of rest and poor hair care. If any of these factors apply to you, they need to be corrected first. Yoga, atleast 5 times per week, is the best thing to do when you suffer from acute hair fall. Goodluck and great hair!
