A wonderful recipe I found in a Betty Crocker low-fat and low-cholesterol cookbook. When my market doesn't have ground lamb, I ask the butcher to grind some; just make sure it's from the shoulder. If it's from the dark meat section, the meat will have too much fat and will not taste as good.

    Recipe #247074

A hearty soup that is perfect for lunch or dinner. I often make this soup for supper, accompanied by a salad and crusty bread. It's also a good recipe to use up extra chicken and the cilantro I always have left over from other recipes.

    Recipe #277775

This is a spicy twist on the usual "Sloppy Joe" recipes. I love tomatillos but I don't have a lot of recipes using them, so I was glad I found this one. The recipe calls for ground turkey breast, but I use lean ground beef instead.

    Recipe #281586

There are so many ways to make country-fried steak that many people have their own special recipe. This is what we make, and I don't see a similar recipe here so I'm posting the one we use. We usually serve it with mashed potatoes and green beans.

    Recipe #282125

My husband loves this creamy chowder, and it's good for lunchtime or as a light dinner served with focaccia wedges or rolls. It's also super-quick to make and get on the table.

    Recipe #292960

I found this recipe on the back of a Kraft macaroni and cheese box years ago, and have made it many times since. The kids really love it and it's a very inexpensive meal.

    Recipe #293447

This recipe comes from the Disney Cruise Line. It's rich and decadent, and oh-so-delicious. (The cooking time listed is actually the time for refrigerating the pie.)

    Recipe #314555

I was at WDW's Riverside Resort a few days ago, and had the most amazing tomato bisque soup. It was so thick, creamy and full of tomatoey flavor that I had several bowls of it. After coming home I found a few different recipes for Disney tomato bisque soups; after looking at the ingredients, I'm sure this is the one I had.

    Recipe #317130

This is a quick dinner that kids love! I'd never used frozen Tater Tots before, but I found this recipe and made it for my son. It has sort of a burger and french fry taste and he gobbled down several servings, saying he wished I'd make this all the time.

    Recipe #348296

This is a great side dish for many types of recipes; and for vegetarians it can be served in larger portions to make a delicious dinner entree.

    Recipe #352909

When my son was younger he didn't want to eat spinach, so when I found this recipe I thought he might like it because of the sweetness of the mandarin oranges. Well, he did like it and now eats spinach whatever way I prepare it.

    Recipe #292669

The buttery and creamy taste of avocado complements the delicate flavor of veal chops in this recipe. It makes a wonderful dinner to serve for special occasions.

    Recipe #332325

This is an easy-to-make recipe, but the way of forming the potatoes is what makes it different -- I like to serve potatoes this way when having guests over. I usually serve this with a steak and a salad.

    Recipe #264704

I made this Rachael Ray recipe when we had a group of friends over -- someone made the taquitos, I made the burritos, and I had made the sauce ahead of time and just reheated it. Using rotisserie chicken makes the taquitos especially easy to prepare. I've also made only the burritos when it's just for the 3 of us. (Some of the prep/sauteeing is done while other parts of the dishes are cooking, so it actually takes less time than listed below.)

    Recipe #281665

I recently found this recipe -- I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds like it will make a light, fresh dessert that I think my family will enjoy.

    Recipe #293092

This is the easiest and fastest way to put grilled chicken on the table quickly. It goes with almost any type of side dish

    Recipe #324416

I found this recipe on the official Obama/Biden website. He said on Good Morning America that this is his favorite chili recipe and he has been enjoying it since college. (This recipe didn't list the exact times for cooking each step. I am posting it just as written, but personally I would cook the beef first, drain and set aside, cook the onions, pepper and garlic, and then add the cooked beef back into the pan. You may want to cook it with his ingredients but following directions used for any standard chili recipe.) Another dish he mentioned as a favorite was shrimp and grits. I've found a recipe for shrimp and grits that looked really good and I've posted it here (Recipe#351455).

    Recipe #351452

Here is a delicious and easy dish -- my kids love the taste and it is quick to make on a busy night. This recipe is a prize winner from Better Homes and Gardens.

    Recipe #277762

This recipe was the winner in the casseroles category in Better Homes & Gardens "Your Best Recipes" contest. We had it last night and it was great!!

    Recipe #281004

This soup is so easy to make and refreshing on a hot summer's day. We enjoyed it when visiting Walt Disney World and I was lucky enough to find the recipe. (Cooking time is actually the time for refrigerating.)
