This is a yummy recipe! It's really very simple, but so good. You can leave the rum out if you choose. It's great as a take-a-long to pot-lucks, holiday dinners, and just when you might want a change from regular potatoes. I got this on the web.

    Recipe #216969

Use your favourite apple variety, just make a note to alter the amount of sugar based upon the sweetness of the apples used!

    Recipe #2537

My grandmother gave me this apple pie recipe after she made it for me during a visit about 5 years ago. I like to use Granny Smith apples, leave the peel on, and cut slices that are a little thick, but do whatever you wish! This is a very good pie and I'm always asked to make it! Thanks, Grandma!! (Very good served with vanilla ice cream!)

My love of cranberries led to me to adopted this recipe. I think that it is the perfect fall pie with the crisp tartness of the berries shining about the sweetness of the apples. Original poster's comments: "Found this in the Sunday paper in the coupon section and it's become a huge hit. I'm not usually a fan of cranberries, but I like the flavor of this pie! I hope you like it, too!"

Well, after looking for this recipe on here and not having any luck, I decided to find it and post it. In my opinion, this is the best pumpkin pie. Make your own graham cracker crust or buy an already prepared one.

    Recipe #101104

This is the one pumpkin pie recipe I keep coming back to year after year. I was at a military ladies' coffee when I first tasted this pie, and it was the most moist & eggy pumkpin pie I had ever eaten. I asked the hostess, Barb, for the recipe, and she shared the recipe with me - which I believe came from her mother. I made my own changes to the recipe over the years and now I have written down my changes so that I can share my version with you. I only use fresh pumpkin in this recipe and it is well worth the little bit of extra effort. PLEASE NOTE: This recipe calls for a DEEP DISH pie plate and intended to be a egg custard textured pie. Even using a deep dish pie plate, you may still find you have a small amount of extra batter, as some deep dish pans are larger and deeper than others (mine fits all of the batter in one pie). You can use whole milks in this if you prefer, however I like the lighter taste of the skim in this. If you only have small pie plates, then you might want to prepare an extra pastry round and divide the batter between two smaller pies.

requested by heather feather from a gooseberry patch cookbook. cook time and prep time are estimated as i have not personally made it(yet!!!)

    Recipe #102262

What do do with that turkey breast? This is moist and flavorful.

    Recipe #149268

This is a fudgey, brownie-like cake with a chocolate cream cheese frosting and a sweet raspberry filling. It is decadence at its best.

    Recipe #90203

I make this when we go to the lake. Great way to cool off.

However here is one that I used to bag up and sell at craft shows.. Sugared Walnuts (or Pecans or Almonds)**

A wonderful holiday project to do with the young ones. Makes inedible, incredibly fragrant cinnamon "cookie" ornaments. These ornaments also work well as package decorations.

    Recipe #49162

My co-worker Amy is talented in all things craftsy: basket-making, soaps (the real kind, with lye!) and this is her recipe for gingerbread craft dough for holiday ornaments, etc. You can protect them with clearcoat to save for future holidays, but this will mask the delicious spicy fragrance, so I'd just make more next year and enjoy the aroma this year. Prep time includes drying time and yield depends on the size of your cookie cutters. And please don't eat them!

This is a excellent gift for coffee lovers for any occasion or just to use when making your own coffee and don't have any liquid creamers handy.

Garden-fresh flavors simply presented are sure to please. And nobody but the cook needs to know how easy this one is. ;)

This festive jam is being posted for a request. I found it recently in a community type cookbook and I haven't had a chance to try it yet.
