Start with vitamin-rich carrots and pumpkin, naturally sweet honey, protein-packed peanuts, and a handy pocket of bread. Heat and stir to create an oh-so-not-healthy chewy candy treat. ("Prep time" includes cooling overnight.)

    Recipe #354051

So pretty! Lovely, little sweet strawberry chicken bites with Amaretto-flavored mascarpone cheese nestled in the petals of flower-like cups of phyllo! Would be well received at parties, brunches, luncheons and showers! A little time-consuming, but easy to make!

    Recipe #317868

    Recipe #317887

Made for RSC #12 contest. A summer dessert that makes the top ten chart for our family. Hope you try this and enjoy at your next family gathering. Time estimated is not chilling time included.

    Recipe #317928

An American favorite, the peanut butter-Jelly Sandwich with some surprise. I recommend the optional alcohol as it really looks great, especially if you have planned ahead and somebody could turn of the light for you when you enter the dinning room. The alcohol mostly burns away but i can not recommend this for kids. All ingredients are from the RCS#12 list so you, who are testing this for the contest NOW should have all the ingredients handy. What an advantage!

    Recipe #317936

This bread has a lovely festive color from the star ingredient which is beets and is perfect for party sandwiches or for a dinner party or BBQ. It was inspired and created for the RSC #14 cooking contest for the Summer of 2009, but since the original recipe had MAJOR problems I am reworking it and subtracting ingredients that are no longer required to be in it.

    Recipe #384219

This is a wickedly-good concoction a soup thats perfect for summer! The colour is so beautiful a deep, rich vermillion - and with a drizzle or dollop of dill-infused crème fraiche, its nearly too pretty to eat. Fortunately, the taste lives up to the stunning visual!

    Recipe #384212

This enhanced butter that you create yourself will be the show stopper at all of your parties, events and family get-togethers. My suggestion is to serve this as a topping on a baked potato or other vegetable. This recipe was created for the Ready Set Cook #14 cooking contest in the category: Condiment.

    Recipe #384220

lamb and cheese enclosed in herbed rye pastry If you want to make this with leftover lamb, skip step 7 and add the lamb, salt and pepper when you mix in the cheese.

    Recipe #384248

This cake is of course very very moist since it is a tres leches cake, but the added flavor of the chocolate and hazelnuts are wonderful. Trust me on the cranberries, they really add a sweet little surprise throughout the cake. The icing is really easy and very sweet and creamy. A small piece is all you need. Prep/cook time does not include chilling time.

    Recipe #384246

As a salad first course for a dinner party, these tasteful bites hint at the delightful meal to come. (Preparation note: The Radish Pea truffle must be prepared ahead, to set. The Walnut Tapenade and Strawberry Shrimp Chipotle truffles can be prepared ahead and refrigerated.)

    Recipe #378865

Note, the original recipe was written for the CRAZE E salad contest using their ingredients, however I have since modified the recipe using my favorite ingredients. The dressing is using Recipe #382073.
