These muffins go well with soup for an easy meal, or make mini ones and serve as finger food.

    Recipe #29294

A friend of mine got this recipe from her Brazilian friend who says that this shake is very popular during the summer in Brazil. It sounds kind of gross because you might associate avocados with non-sweet foods but I promise it tastes like candy. It's so good!

    Recipe #121338

"These fries are really good, and the dip is to die for! You would never think to put avocado dip on a sweet potato fry, but... oh my is it a yummy treat!! We ate these and I wanted more when tray was empty. Overcome the skepticism and give it a try! "

If you have enjoyed the "ZUPPA TOSCANA" at the Olive Garden, then you will love this Copy Cat recipe. If you have not had it, then you need to try it. :-)

This recipe is very gourmet and is from Bobby Flay on FoodNetwork. A little work, but well worth it. Mostly vegetables and very hardy, it is even better left over! I use store-bought croutons, either Italian or Garlic/Cheese to top it off and a little Parmesan.

This can be served hot or at room temperature. From Everyday Italian. I love orecchiette pasta and broccoli rabe and usually they are together in dishes but I love the additon of the sausage.

    Recipe #116720

My mom used to give us decadent cinnamon-sprinkled toast, with butter or margarine to make the cinnamon-sugar stick. Now that I'm vegan and needed a butter alternative, I ended up creating this! Still has a dreamy flavor, but won't hurt you or the cows!

    Recipe #192052

I have tried several recipes using quinoa and never liked any of them until this one. It is important to rinse this grain very, very well to get rid of the bitter taste. This is an adapted Moosewood recipe.

    Recipe #101925

Quick and easy- hot and cheesy! Seasonings, bacon and two cheeses make this a really yummy side that is sure to please the pickiest people! Southern women will add bacon and cheese to any healthy veggie!

I got this recipe from Today's Parent Magazine. It is to attract toddlers but we liked it so much as a family that it is now in our cooking list every week, thanks to its low-fat, super moist, healthy ingredients. Hope you like it!

These quick 'n easy quesadillas are perfect for the late night snacker with discriminating tastes, or the bachelor/ette cooking for one. (though multiples are entirely possible - cooking them simultaneously will surely take balancing!). When cut into smaller wedges, these are also ideal as appetizers, and can be served between warm and room temperature. (*a plus to serve on St. Patty's day, as all the ingredients are GREEN!)

    Recipe #38156

A colorful pasta dish, which can be served as a side dish, as a lunch and is particularly good for a buffet as it does not mind sitting around and tastes just as good at room temperature. I like this recipe because everyone in my house likes it (a rare occurrence) and because any vegetable can be substituted as long as it is cut up small. For vegetarians substitute vegetable stock.

    Recipe #13909

This is such a tasty and healthy snack, and so simple. Recipe courtesy of Cooking Light magazine, and a real "Keeper" in my family! Wonderful to dip in Ranch dressing too! The kids even ask for this as a snack!

This recipe was sent to me by my mum,who thought that her beloved grandchildren might enjoy them! The first time I made them they didn't even get a chance to go cold,as the children and I devoured them.I have since made them to take to our local playgroup end of term party, and once again, children and parents alike loved them. They are so simple and delicious, and a great way to get some extra veggies into your children.Perfect for picnics and lunchbags.I often pack a few in a tub for when we go shopping for child friendly snacks.I should imagine that these would be good served warm with pre dinner drinks or as part of a finger buffet.

I love zucchini sticks, and these baked ones are better than any fried version.

I've been making something similar to this most of the fall! My Son has no idea it was butternut he thought he was eating pumpkin! Method for pureeing butternut Recipe #194908

    Recipe #52072

Try something different with a bacon & pumpkin pasta. Making it vegetarian or greener: Fry halved mushrooms with the onion instead of pancetta. Or add a couple of handfuls of baby spinach before adding the parmesan.

    Recipe #396551

I've been experimenting with raw corn tortilla/chips. Plain corn pureed becomes corn "fruit" roll-up in the dehydrator. Tasty, but not quite what I'm looking for. This version could probably be make thicker and dehydrated longer for corn bread biscuits. Cook time is really time in the dehydrator.

Great little muffins - like crustless quiches. The flavour of these ingredients together is great, however you could use different cheeses or vegetables if you wish.

    Recipe #87371

These are much like potato latkes, but without the potato. The idea was born out of that time of the year when everyone and their cousin has way too much squash from their gardens. Plus, it got my picky eaters to enjoy some veggies.
