Looking to add other grains to your diet? Try millet as a hot breakfast cereal. Note: I adopted this as an "authorless" recipe, as it was one I had tried and liked. I have changed the recipe from the original description that it made 2 servings; as I and both other reviewers at this time found that it really makes 1 serving. It can, however, be doubled very easily. I cook mine in my rice cooker which I recommend as a very easy way to make this.
Millet porridge, of the most common breakfast foods in China, is simple, slightly sweet and nutty-tasting. It's also nourishing, hydrating, and extremely healthy. It’s not as exciting as Hei Mi Zhou, the many-ingredients mixed black rice porridge, but it’s quickly become a staple even here in the states for me.

Sweating procedure Drink a cup or more of hot diaphoretic herbal tea, take a bath or hot shower then drink more tea,then cover in blankets and sweat. Avoid sweets,salty foods,dairy,eggs,and other mucus forming foods. Drink a 1/2 cup tea 2-4 times a day between meals. At times I throw a lemon cut in half in while simmering.
Goji Berries are an Asian fruit & contain more antioxidants than blueberries & are healthy in many other ways. Although their mild taste is a little different, here's one way to enjoy them. The smoothie can also be made with equal quantities of Goji Berries & other berries, apples or cherries, while substituting rice milk for the orange juice.
These make a great good-for-you breakfast! I think it would also work well to double or triple it, freeze the bars individually, and grab them on your way out the door for inclusion in lunch or breakfast on the road.
Neither my husband or I are big breakfast eaters, and the food you can get on the run isn't always healthy. I knew I had to come up with something good tasting and good for us that we could grab and run. These are also great to take along camping! Don't expect them to be sweet though; they are made without sugar.
