I tried a similar soup at a restaurant and decided to recreate it at home. I use low sodium chicken broth and skim milk. I don't add additional salt, so you might want to taste and add it as necessary to meet your preferences. If you use plain wild rice (the box usually comes with seasonings), you'll probably need to add some additional seasonings. I also like to use leftover wild rice in here and adjust the other proportions according to the amount I have on hand.

A lovely, filling soup with sweet and spicy flavors from the sweet corn and spices. I found this in a Dairy Favorites card at the grocery and made a few tweaks for our preferences. You can also sub white cannellini beans for the great northern - I just find it easier to locate the great northerns in my area.

A friend brought a similar recipe to a potluck, and we enjoyed it so much that I knew I needed to make it at home! It has a nice, light flavor that doesn't overwhelm the fish. We have made this both by baking it in the oven and by putting it over a campfire and checking it periodically, removing it when the fish flakes easily. Also - I don't add salt to my dishes, so you may want to add some if you think you would prefer it that way.

I saw this on the food network's Big Daddy's House. I changed it a little to make it healthier.

This is out of this months Woman's Day magazine. Dated 9/16/08 "OK" next months:) This looked so good and healthy I had to save it. If you try it I hope it is enjoyed. On my list to make. It does say that if you or the family don't care for Salmon you can use any firm white fish such as grouper, sea bass or mahi-mahi. This is great served with rice.

Absolutely, hands down, no doubt about it, the best recipe for fish tacos! Do your chopping ahead of time, as these tacos cook up fast! Fresh and light in taste, the flavor of delicious Alaskan Wild Salmon shines in this dish. You may also substitute halibut, or a similarly firm textured fish in place of the salmon. The leftovers are great served cold over a salad! I adapted this recipe from my mom's method of preparing salmon tacos.

You can smell the bacon from the outside the house. Fall is approaching and the wind has picked up a little bit, and a nice breeze is blowing from the south, which in turn transfers the aroma of fresh bacon right out the window and into your nose. Dennis was wondering what was going on, after all, it was the middle of a fall afternoon. The door creaks open, Dennis slips off his boots, hangs up his hat on the pegged hanger, and rushes into the kitchen. I turned around to greet him with a smile, and laughing at his questioning look, I tilt my head and say, "It's bacon Dennis!" "I know, I know...." tests Dennis with a small voice. Dennis loves bacon. He will eat a couple of pieces a day, that would be, if I let him. I decided I would at least bring some healthfulness to him, and something tasty at the same time. One piece of bacon, wrapped in a tortilla, (or pita for that matter) with an abundance of lettuce, tomato, and special spritely green onion with a spot of cheese dotted on the top would be the answer to his dream.

This is a very tasty wrap with hummus and other good stuff. Easy to make especially if you have leftover chicken. It is good without the chicken and just plain. You may substitute romaine lettuce for the spinach.

Entered for safe-keeping. From WW's "Simply the Best All American". About 7 "thingies" per serving. Add a tossed salad for a quick dinner.

    Recipe #351923

This is an easy yet tasty sandwich recipe. It has some spark to it with the coating on the chicken but the Tzatziki sauce balances it out. This is a recipe I cut out of the Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch.

These tangy, fruity lettuce wraps are perfect for lunch or dinner on a warm summer night. Make sure all ingredients are well chilled before preparing. This recipe is thanks to Raley’s something extra.

This comes from Kraft, but I want to make sure I don't lose it -- sounds great for get togethers around the holidays!

I have not tried this recipe. I got this recipe from Obesity Help. The recipe was posted by marylyn.

    Recipe #323269

The back door swings shut with a loud bang, people are balancing fresh back porch iced tea in frosty glasses, with ice tinkling and bobbing around, in one hand. In the other hand, clutched tightly; holds a sandwich that heralds the start of the long hot summer. A big shade tree has several old lawn chairs randomly placed beneath it, and our friends hurry to plop down, with a sigh of complete satisfaction as they begin devour their pleasurable, but simplistic tomato sandwich, and sip the sweet iced tea.

A friend of mine just told me about this recipe, she makes it all the time. I am a guacaholic and its a great way to use green and yellow zucchini. Use your favorite guacamole recipe. You can add some favorite spices to the cooking, or Italian dressing to the wrap if you want. Its adaptable :) Serve with Sweet Potato Fries as a main dish, or just have as a sandwich. Cooking time does not include making your own guacamole, which i usually do, or buy premade.

A sweet and spicy pizza. Chicken satay on a crust.

    Recipe #111786

Chunks of chicken and vegetables are marinated in a mixture of soy, sherry and garlic, then grilled to perfection! Serve them over seasoned rice or couscous.

    Recipe #306973

One of my favorite vegetarian/vegan meals. It's wonderful served with a green salad and soft flatbread. I've provided directions for both stovetop and crock-pot cooking methods, although I originally found the recipe in Judith Finlayson's 150 Best Slow Cooker Recipes.
