A recipe from the Ultimate Barbeque cookbook. I will do it for lunch. ETA : I can see why these are Dream Burgers. They are so tasty. A little bit sweet because of the sauce. Burgers are moist and were easy to cook on the barbecue.
We all have our different tastes for burgers I like mine flavorful and juicy this recipe will give you the best of both! see the bottom of the recipe for tips on even more extra juicy burgers! --- making a indentation in the middle of the uncooked burger will prevent the burgers from puffing up into meatballs shapes while cooking and keeps them flat --- do not add any salt into the burger mixture as the dry onion soup already has a lot of salt content, you can sprinkle some on towards the end of cooking if needed, if desired you may add in 3-4 tablespoons of your favorite barbecue sauce to the ground beef mixture
I finally figured out how I like my burgers best. Give 'em a try and see if you like them this way, too. Tip: If you make the mixture ahead of time, make sure to put the burgers on the counter for about 10 minutes so you're not putting them on the grill ice cold. They cook better that way.
An A+ burger, guaranteed to please!!! However, these are NOT your drive-thru variety cheeseburger, so if that is what you are looking for, pass these up. These burgers are equally tasty prepared with blue cheese, rather than cheddar. Try recipe #173076 for the bacon. From Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce.
These burgers are a real hit with my family and friends. The original recipe came from msn lifestyles section and after some tweaking, I believe I have perfected the grilled burger! Try it and let me know, I have never had a bad comment from anyone, even my picky children. Thanks and ENJOY!
P.S. I just tried a little substitution last week..instead of the hot souce, try Chipotle peppers in Adobo sauce.....Excellent option! Great flavor and heat.
From the April/May 2006 issue of Every Day with Rachael Ray. Tried these tonight and they were fabulous, so wanted to post them so I didn't lose the recipe. Enjoy! These are NOT as difficult as the recipe sounds.
These are fantastic when made on the outdoor grill! ---plan ahead the ground beef mixture *must* refrigerated 8-24 hours before shaping into patties -- for extra moistness add in 2-3 tablespoons grated *raw* potatoes --- I use my recipe#203857 for these burgers but any Italian seasoned is fine to use --- cooking time is only estimated.
I got this recipe out of one of those little coupon booklets that come with some of the recipe magazines. Not sure which one, but probably TOH or QC. I added the mushroom, simply because we love them. As empty nesters, I am always on the lookout for recipes that are already geared toward two servings. This recipe was one of those.
My husband found this recipe on the internet somewhere, and it has since become our favorite hamburger recipe. It's fast, easy and is a big hit with everyone so far. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
