This was another one of our favorites in the 70's Very inexpensive and very easy to make. Just recently found this recipe hand-written by my Mom, and the warm feelings flood back to me, because this was a true favorite in our house. Little did I know that she was on such a tight budget, yet made things like this that we all loved!! NOTE: The meat that was used in this recipe always varied, according to whatever we had available at the time.

    Recipe #126623

these ribs will be some of the most tenderest ribs that you will ever eat. and they are simple to make and evewryone loves them.

    Recipe #10155

Country-style pork ribs are about the cheapest meat available on a regular basis in the store. Due to this, my family eats them fairly regularly. Although we like barbecued country-style pork ribs, we needed a change. This recipe is a compilation of what I liked best from different recipes and put them together to make my own. My 10-year old son deemed “the best ever!” Hope you like this change from the ordinary.

    Recipe #450619

I found this pulled pork recipe years ago, and it's a favorite at potlucks. Freezes well for easy quick meals.

    Recipe #131018

Fresh is just so much nicer then the pre-packaged kind that uses picnic bacon and tastes like cardboard. These fry quickly and you don't have to crumble the slices after frying them. There is no need to separate the pieces. They will separate during cooking. Use these in any recipe calling for crumbled bacon or bacon bits. Perfect for salads and baked potato toppings or twice baked potatoes.

    Recipe #242966

Simple, quick and tasty. Something I threw together with the 'scraps' in my Fridge and surprised me with how great it tasted. Feel free to remove as much 'fat' from the pan as you need to... the more you leave, the better it tastes! Great with mashed potatoes!

I threw this together one night with ingredients I had on hand, and I have made it about 5 times since! It is a great combination of flavors, and so, so easy! I serve this with steamed rice.

    Recipe #124961

A really tasty way to fix pork chops. Enjoy!

    Recipe #284784

This is one of my favorite meals handed down from my Italian/Czech grandparents to my father to myself. The latter two individuals are still alive, so we're claiming credit for it. (Who's gonna argue?) It rates scary on the health-O-meter, but who cares?! It's delicious! Hey, if you want to go exercise, donate to the IRS or volunteer at your local library to alleviate your guilt, go right ahead. I want you to know that I'm usually very stingy with this recipe. Course, that doesn't mean you'll like it, but that's not MY fault! Oh, and just so you know, these are very firm and dense dumplings, not light and fluffy. We prefer these stick-to-your-bones babies. And each bite you take MUST have a bit of sauer kraut, pork and dumpling on it....it's the LAW. Number of servings is approximate.

I love this no fuss dinner. It is perfect for those cold days of Autumn. I like to add a layer of apples on top of the chops before covering them with the second layer of potatoes & Kraut.

    Recipe #20956

This one pot meal makes my life easier. I usually serve it with greens beans or peas to round out the meal.

I love this for busy days when I have the extra time in the morning to set things up or I may even start the process the night before then refrigerate till the morning and throw in the crock pot. I almost always double everything except the chops for LOTS-O-GRAVY!!!!MMMMM

    Recipe #74329

I am always looking for crock pot dinners that aren't bland and blah. I found this one in one of my Mom's cookbooks and it really is nice for an easy crock pot meal that has good flavor too.
