I used small Italian frozen meat balls if you use larger meatballs you may want to defrost them first. This is so quick & easy and very tasty - nice served with pasta. My favorite BBQ sauce with thei recipe Is Diane's original
My husband brought home this recipe from Yarmouth Junior High School’s family studies cooking program when he taught it one year and it is DELICIOUS! I had to increase all the ingredients to feed a family or group. This is my kids' favourite meal.
These burgers are just delicious! The ingredients make for a burger that needs little topping - keep the ketchup and mustard in your refrigerator! And please don't skip the barbecue sauce. It sounds a little odd, but it adds just the right flavor to finish off these great burgers. I'd recommend topping with lettuce, tomato and a little mayo.
WOW!! This is SO incredibly tasty!! I got this off the Weight Watchers website. This is my version of the recipe. This one is a definite keeper for us. Chalk full of flavor we thought!!! And VERY versatile!!
This dish is one of my husband's favorites and mine as well when I'm not worrying about carbs! I can't remember where I got this one - I think off the back of a box some time ago, but I ended up slightly altering it to turn up the heat a bit. With the tabasco to taste, you can make it a little spicy or a lot! It also reheats well.
I got a bag of Organic pork mince and was trying to think of how to use it, I looked at the ingredients list and used what I had on hand. It turned out very tasty and I intend on cooking it again. I like HOT food and this is hot you can add less chil=li if you don't like too much heat.
Two classic favorites for your family in one easy, affordable meal. Pair with tossed salad and French bread and voilà! You'll be the next new chef to star in your own kitchen with adoring family and friends. And isn't that what it's all about?
These are wonderful grilled, of course you may season the ground pork to suit your taste, but I find if you are grilling the pork burgers, that they are better mixed with just the bare basics such as salt and pepper, Worcestershire sauce and mustard (if using) as the middle filling has a lot of flavor. I just stated the basics LOL! The filling alone, can be prepared up to a day ahead, also the pork burgers can be stuffed a day ahead, covered an refrigerated until ready to grill. This recipe produces a lot of pork patties (around 12-14) I most always prepare/stuff the patties and freeze half for next time, unless that is, you are feeding a gang of hungry people! I have used half ground pork and half ground beef for this also.
The word "tapa" in Spanish means top or cover (there are other meanings) Spain has many bars - one for every 120 persons. They are usually small and run by families. Coffee, water, soft drinks and liquor. They serve food also. They have the time and ingredients for these small dishes. In the early days tapas were served on small dishes placed as a cover over drinks. The tapas were small and sometimes they were free or sold for a small price. Today the dishes are larger and expensive. (4) recipes of the most commonly found tapas all over Spain.
Simple easy, do ahead casserole. Not bad on the pocket book either. If you like a little more zing to it add 1 teaspoon of your favorite hot sauce or 1 tsp chili flakes
I took some shortcuts today when I made this casserole - I used precooked hamburger, a can of French cut beans, leftover celeric Mashed potatoes & bottled chopped garlic. It was In the oven in 5 minutes. It definitely needs some chili flakes or other spicy condiment
