This reminds me of Greek chicken souvlaki, but in a creamy version served with pasta. I first tasted this dish at our local grocery store and then brought home the recipe changed it to meet my family's taste. My son and daughter just love this chicken and pasta. I serve it with salad and garlic bread - yummy!! NOTE: Since some chef's aren't able to find this butter to buy, here is what the ingredients state on the stick of butter. Butter, chives, parsley, garlic, salt, dill, pepper & paprika. They sell it in the Publix grocery store by the stick.
You can eat these potatoes really any time of the day. I made them for dinner last night alongside steak. My boyfriend took one bite out of them and said he doesn't want to eat anything else but these potatoes from now on haha.
I came across this at Epicurious and fell in love, and its been elsewhere. Years of looking for the lemon pasta I remembered as a child, and finally found it. Tweaked it a little to my own taste, replacing parsley with fresh basil and using linguine. If you don't have tender asparagus, the europes best frozen ones are far better than woody fresh ones. Do NOT substitute lighter creams, it just does not work that well.
Our little community in Maine occasionally does ethnic-themed potluck dinners. Found this on an ethnic foods website and made it for Greek Night (figuring everyone else would do the usual spanakopita, mousaka, etc.) The fresh rosemary really makes this dish -- you might even want to up the amount a bit!
A classic Greek dish: lamb, eggplant, tomatoes, onion and garlic topped with a yoghurt and feta sauce and baked in the eggplant skins. Delicious served with a Greek salad, crusty rolls and a bottle of your favourite red wine. Adapted from a recipe on the “Australian Women’s Weekly” website.
