Great served with whole wheat pasta or/and garlic bread, or try it over creamy polenta! Add more cheese and sauce if you like.

    Recipe #492740

    Recipe #492622

Michael Simon says this dish is inspired by his mom, so of course it is Greek! Michael likes to leave the skin on the carrots because they really pick up the char well when the sugar in the carrots superheats in the pan. Dressing the carrots while they are hot allows them to soak up some of the vinaigrette. This works as an appetizer on it's own or as a side to roasted lamb or grilled fish. From the cookbook The Chew Food Life Fun.

    Recipe #492621

These are so yummy! And vegan too. Got this from Cooking Entrees with the Micheff Sisters cookbook. Enjoy! I enjoy with brown rice.

This really adds flavor to hummus, which is already good. Hummus is a staple food in some countries because it contains vitamin B, carbohydrates, and minerals. This recipe makes 2 cups. Recipe #468465

When I saw all the ooohs and ahhhhs from the people tasting this pie, I knew I had to get the recipe. If you're in a hurry, use a store bought pie crust. From the Chew! UPDATE: Due to a helpful reviewer, I have lowered the salt amount in this recipe.

    Recipe #467713

Open the oven door and the aroma of this fresh baked breakfast bread will have the entire house clamoring into the kitchen. Moist and dense in texture, the bread includes healthy ingredients, such as oats and fresh banana, and is easy to prepare and very adaptable, accommodating your choice of chopped nuts or dried fruit in place of the cranberries. Some people say you don't even need the sugar when the bananas are so sweet. Adapted from Whole Foods.
